What sunglasses suit you?
Choose a frame according to your face!
Sunglasses to hide from the sun? To see better or just for appearance?
By recognizing which of the following 6 categories your face belongs to, you will be able to immediately dismiss frames that do not suit you and focus on those that "suit" you best!
A general rule is: the frames we choose should have an opposite shape to that of our face.
Let's take a look below at which shapes match each type of face.
Oval
If you have an oval face shape, choosing glasses is relatively easier, as almost all types suit this particular face shape!
Your face shape resembles that of an egg and is characterized by a larger forehead compared to the chin. The length of your face is greater than its width, and the width of your forehead coincides with that of your cheekbones.
It is the ideal face shape even for the most unique frames!
Ideally, large frames that highlight the cheekbones suit this face shape, without exceeding the width of the face, only slightly.
We recommend: Square, rectangular, aviator, and oversized glasses.
Avoid: Round and oval, and generally narrow frames with pronounced angles.
Round
If your face lacks angles and you have a round chin, then a frame with the right shape will give the impression of a longer face. Generally, round faces have equal length and width.
Ideally, prefer long, dark frames with pronounced angles and longer lenses, and a narrow bridge.
We recommend: Square, rectangular, aviator, cat eye, butterfly, and oversized frames.
Avoid: Round, geometric, and oval glasses.
Square
The square face is characterized by strong features, sharp angles, and a wide forehead & jawline. Usually, square faces have equal length and width. The frames you choose should give the impression of a longer face.
Ideally, opt for thin rounded frames with smaller lens length.
Suggested: Oval, aviator, mask, round, and cat eye glasses.
Avoid: Square, rectangular, and squared glasses.
Long
If your face is long and narrow, without prominent cheekbones, try frames that prioritize width and bold arms.
We recommend: Thin oversized frames with rounded edges, such as oval, round, and aviator, as well as frames that do not have a prominent frame under the lenses.
Avoid: Square and rectangular glasses.
Heart - Triangle Shape
If your face is wider at the top and narrows down towards the chin, you are one of the lucky ones, as you have many options! Usually, heart-shaped faces have a longer length than width. Prefer frames with relatively thin arms, curved lenses at the bottom, and glasses without a full frame around the lenses.
Recommend: Square, round, and rectangular glasses.
Avoid: Oversized, butterfly, sporty, and cat eye glasses.
