I was reading and couldn't believe it, it is extremely productive. It requires good gloves because it is easy to forget, you almost always hold it with one hand. I regret not buying it in previous years.
My father has 3-4 chainsaws from different brands. It is the only one that hasn't burned out or has trouble starting for years. It cuts better than all the others by far and is the lightest. In simple words, it has everything.

The carving blade has a thin chain for precise delicate cuts without damaging the branch... it cuts like a sword instantly with incredible power... there is the same saw with a thicker chain and a different blade for thicker cuts, I have them for olives and both chainsaws, one with carving and the other with a regular 4-star chain... the saw in general is the lightest and most powerful small one, along with sindaiwa which is essentially the same saw, just a different brand... you get a machine that lasts for years and doesn't break
I have been using it for 3 years. In the company where we cut wood, we call it katana. It cuts very well, it has a very small "body" that allows easy work between branches, it is very lightweight and does not tire you out during long hours of use. Its power is more than I expected, and it has a lot of gas for its size!
Proper cleaning after use and you have nothing to worry about. CAUTION, do not tighten the chain too much because the carving part in the front tends to "grab" due to the lack of gears.
I bought it this year for olive trees. I have 2 other chainsaws, one of which is the eco 260. As for the 2511, it starts cutting right away and cuts very well. It is powerful and worth much more than the others, considering its weight alone. If you cut with this one and then use the others, it feels like you're cutting through a brick with a cement block. It cuts even with the tip. Just so you know, it is perfect for pruning and not for trunks, not that it can't cut them, but because of their size.

I recommend the Echo CS-2511 TESC Carving 1.1mm Chainsaw, weighing 2.3kg with a 25cm blade length. I had read the reviews before purchasing it, and it definitely lives up to its reputation for pruning. Due to its powerful and lightweight nature, it is necessary to use it with both hands to avoid any minor injuries.
Very lightweight and powerful, with easy start. It cuts with great ease and large logs. It is easily held with one hand. I have worked with it a lot and I recommend it.

I have it for 3 years and it prunes 3000 olives every year. I only use gasoline and oil, but I also have 4 other equally good ones from different brands. However, this specific one is not only very powerful but also very lightweight. If you are a beginner or if it's your first time using a chainsaw, I don't recommend it because it is very sensitive and doesn't tolerate mistakes. Instead, get the Stihl MS 150, which is in the same category but has smoother operation

Stay away from this. Very damaging. Adjustment every 3 and a little. If it gets clogged, it doesn't move forward at all. It kicks for pruning. The chain step is not correct.

I have used it 10 times, I take care of it like a baby and it gave me a problem that it couldn't hold idle... I send it to the official representative in Lamia, PAPALEXIS, and they return it to me with a charge of 36€ (2 membranes & spark plug replacement. I don't understand why the spark plug was replaced, since the other one is new. I probably understand why it was done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). 5 years warranty otherwise!!! THE MEMBRANES BROKE WITHIN 8 MONTHS "WITHOUT" USING FUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had it for 2 months. I am a beginner with chainsaws. In my area, professionals have been using it for years. If you pay attention, especially when you prune with one hand, keep it away from your feet and hand, you will do your job effortlessly. If you are careless or foolish, yes, you may have an accident because it is very powerful. It starts very easily! You add fuel (be careful with the ratio), chain oil, pump it 3 times and pull it 2-3 times with the air vent open. As soon as you hear it popping, close the air vent, pull it once and it starts! And I'm telling you this as a beginner! You tie it to your belt and climb up the tree because it is SUPER LIGHT!!! I have cut 40cm trunks! I have cut vertical trunks! I always open it at the end of the day and clean the filter, remove residue of chain oil, empty the gasoline. If you take care of it, it will never let you down (My friend has had it for 6 years)! 5 years warranty!!! If you have 360€-370€ to spare, buy it blindly!!!
I have had it for 2 months and it has literally eaten wood! The chain is amazing. It has encountered 2 wires and yet it works like new. It is very lightweight and powerful. It cuts through thick and thin without caring!
Incredible chainsaw. I bought it 3 years ago, with a 25-inch carving blade, 1.1mm thick without a nose sprocket. It is extremely lightweight and powerful for its size. It is amazing for tree care, cutting firewood, and felling trees with a trunk under 30-40 inches. Due to its ease of use, it has almost replaced two Stihl 180 chainsaws that I have. The only thing I don't like is the air filter, which is made of very fine plastic mesh. I would prefer a paper one. After searching a bit, I couldn't find one available in the market. It requires a lot of caution because one-handed operation is very dangerous.

Purchased for €360. The carburetor definitely needs a proper adjustment by a technician in order to work flawlessly and at its maximum capabilities. I used it for 2 days with the factory settings, then with the correct adjustment, I saw a big difference.
The combination of the ECHO 25cm Carving blade (solid, without gears, thin tip) with the Echo chain, 1/4'' pitch and 1.1mm chain guide thickness, shaves and does not get stuck between the branches. The carving blade, if the chain is too tight, will smoke relatively quickly.
I also have the Husqvarna T425 for several years (purchased for €280, with carving cost €320) for pruning, which is very reliable, but the Echo 2511 is truly in a different category. Its weight and design are what make the difference in pruning (olive trees).
Correct ratio with branded mixing oil (e.g. Echo Power Blend X) and good chain oil (Echo Premium Bar and chain oil). Cleaning with a brush during the day to remove debris and every 3rd day with a compressor.
Compared to the Husqvarna T425, is it worth the extra €40? Absolutely. I will list some brief advantages.

The best choice for a pruning chainsaw, it cuts wood like butter. It makes you want to cut with one hand, it doesn't kick at all. It's worth its money...
It is very lightweight and this may be dangerous for some (especially amateurs) because you don't feel in your hand that you have a chainsaw.... otherwise, it's a beast!!!
I bought it because I have a fireplace and also several trees in the village to easily prune. The machine is a little beast. It doesn't get stuck anywhere, although sometimes its power makes you want to cut even larger logs than it is intended for. If you push it too hard, it heats up, especially during the summer months, so it would be good to have a larger machine so that this one can rest and only work for its intended purpose, which is pruning and cutting small branches and thin wood. It is not intended for felling trees and large logs, although it can handle anything. I recommend it for those who have a fireplace or stove, as it will make their lives easier with small logs, and definitely for pruning since it feels like holding a scythe. Clean it at least every two uses and use its own Echo oils. Also, for those who don't know, it is a genuine Japanese product made in Japan. 5/5 from me, easily.
I bought it with some reservations despite the very positive comments from other users. It is excellent in cutting. It cuts wood like a razor. It is lightweight and well-balanced, and I can work with it for hours. For pruning, it is the best I have ever worked with. Be careful because we all get carried away and work with it for hours with one hand. It needs a technique to reach its maximum speed before touching the wood, but also to prevent the chain from spinning on the blade without cutting. In my selfish opinion, it does not require an experienced operator. When working with one hand, enter the wood at an angle relative to the vertical so as to minimize the chance of the kickback turning towards your other hand.
I recommend using 100 octane gasoline and expensive oils, especially the Amsoil, Dominator, and Saber. It needs rest if you are cutting logs up to 25 inches in diameter, which it does brilliantly, but even there it requires experience so as not to strain it. Allow it to cut as much as it can, do not push it, it requires a technique.
It does not require good cleaning, it requires excellent cleaning. Sometimes, I clean it during work if I see and smell sawdust. A brush with stiff black bristles easily cleans it and breathes life into it. It also needs occasional breaks. For those who do not have much experience, buy it without fear but sit with someone knowledgeable to show you its peculiarities.

I had the Echo 280 TS for several years and I was completely satisfied, but due to a fall from a very high height onto a rock, repairing it was not cost-effective, so I decided to get the 2511 curving with a 1.1mm chain and gear blade.
Let's go through the differences compared to the 280, which I considered and still consider very good.
Smaller weight.
Lower consumption.
Easier start.
Better air filter.
Less vibrations.
No kickback.
Cuts better, although this is probably due to the curving blade and 1.1mm chain.
The only possibly negative thing is that it gives you the feeling, even though on paper it seems more powerful, that the 280 has more power. When you press the throttle on the 280, you feel the machine lifting in your hand due to the torque, while here it goes more smoothly. However, this might be how it should be for consumption purposes.
I don't see it lacking in cutting, it doesn't "buckle" no matter how big the trunk is, and although it's not recommended, I have cut trunks over 35 cm with it.
The only thing it needs for me always is a blade change so that it has a gear and a 1.1mm chain, its own struggles quite a bit.
Overall, the chainsaw is very good, it's worth the money, quite honestly, I would buy it again with my eyes closed if I needed to, and if I had to choose between the 280 and this one again, I would still choose the 2511.

After two years and a lot of cutting, I have to say that the chainsaw is a gem.
I used it for over 20 tons of wood (deep pruning on 200 olive trees) and all the cleanings and cuts up to 15-20 centimeters in diameter I did with it.
With a sharpened chain and a clean air filter, it's incredible, just be careful, it needs the filter cleaned with clean gasoline every two refills, otherwise, even though it seems clean, the machine struggles.
Make an adjustment to the carburetor and you will see a completely different bike, more stable when accelerating, more economical, more powerful, and more comfortable. Easily triple the number of trees you can handle compared to when it was set up by the manufacturer. Not to mention that it used to stall when it struggled and when you tried to start it on a hill, it would flood with excessive gasoline. Now, nothing (and you will remember me)
The saw needs a good adjustment (idle, etc.) if done correctly, it will amaze you with what it can cut!!
Attention, it only cuts wood up to 2-4 inches. If you try to cut larger pieces, it cuts them but it has a lot of force and causes a lot of damage. It is not suitable for medium-sized and larger wood, it cannot withstand it. It is very lightweight and weak, only suitable for pruning and small pieces of wood (kindling) strictly
