Well-designed, comfortable, and beautiful motorcycle jacket and more. I agree with the opinions and previous reviews. I have had it for 3 winters and it hasn't suffered any damage, even at a temperature of 5 degrees on the motorcycle, and you are relatively comfortable. Well done, Nordcap.
A good winter motorcycle jacket! It has a thin removable lining that does its job. It gathers at the waist and sleeves if you want. I have tried it at 10 degrees and it kept me warm without needing warm clothes. Unfortunately, I haven't tried it on a trip or in colder weather to have a better opinion.
I give it 4/5 stars because it doesn't have the quality in the leather that leather motorcycle jackets from other companies have. Also, the shoulder and elbow protections are level 1.
For its price and being leather, it's hard to find something better. I recommend it with a slight reservation about how long it will last or the damages that may appear.
- After 2 years of use, I come back to add the following: I wore it in all conditions, as I initially stated, and it is definitely value for money for a leather jacket, but after 2 years, it starts to "lose" its color in some areas. The difference is noticeable compared to similar leather jackets priced at 400-500€. Nevertheless, I still believe that it is very good for its price.
Value for Money discreet winter leather city jacket (for motorcycles).
I have had it for 2 years and it hasn't had any issues. I wear it frequently, even without the motorcycle. The quality of the leather is descent (okay, it's not Dainese or RevIt, but it's fine), it is satisfactorily warm for winter in the city (I haven't tried it for winter travel) and has satisfactory protections (which you can change if you want, as they are in pockets). It has a regular fit/cut (it doesn't hug like a racing jacket, but it is more comfortable for everyday wear) and its brown color is nicer up close (the leather darkens over time - maybe even in the rain). Simply because it's good for the leather not to get wet often, I end up wearing it fewer days (as a second jacket, that is) in winter compared to my fabric one, which is waterproof.
Positives:
- It doesn't scream motorcycle, the protections are easily removable, so it can be worn not only as a motorcycle jacket but also as a casual winter jacket for a stroll if you want.
- The thermal lining does a good job, almost like a Dainese, for example.
- Currently satisfied with its quality.
Negatives:
- It doesn't have vents (unlike the Noardcap Arrow, for example), so if it's hot during the day (like in spring/autumn), you will feel it.
For its price (around 200) and the recommended use, I recommend it!
Nice jacket and comfortable
