Very powerful light. It comes with 3 AA batteries installed and to operate it, a transparent plastic disc must be removed, which prevents the middle battery from making contact. It is not a defect, it has been placed to prevent the batteries from being damaged while the flashlight is inside its packaging.
The flashlight I received had a small crack in the front plastic lens, but it was not worth asking for a replacement. I hope it continues to work for a long time!
