In the isolated island of Skyros, 13-year-old Lambros grows up, the son of fisherman Captain Manolis and Despina, who is no longer alive. His love for the sea attracts Lambros again and again to the open waters. During one of his dives, he discovers an ancient hermaphrodite statue.
