The impact pole replaces the umbrella pole that serves as its base.
It is divided into two parts. The upper half, which is the heavy part, reciprocates, striking the lower part with its weight, functioning like a hammer. This way, the lower part, which has a pointed tip, is driven into the ground without any significant force or effort.
Then, we tighten with a clamp and place our umbrella just as we would in its own base.

I bought the first one 7 years ago. If you rinse it with water frequently and dry it well at the end of the summer, and store it in a shady place.....it easily lasts for 7 years! For better results, "open" it and grease it before storing it for the winter. It is the best in its category in terms of quality and the most durable over time!
Necessary for beach umbrellas. More likely for the umbrella to break from strong wind than for the pole to come out of the ground!
When you start using it, the only thing you wonder is how you lived all these years without it. The rest has been said by the previous speakers.
Unfortunately, while it is heavy-duty and despite the weight and the fact that it is expensive, I trusted it. After a few uses and every time I rinsed and wiped it, it broke at the bottom, not to mention the rust it produces on the hands. Its joints are poor and after a few uses it breaks because it is fake. Also, you cannot make any modifications to it, for example, put a screw in it, because then it simply cannot be used. IT REALLY IS NOT WORTH IT, IT IS EXPENSIVE AND HEAVY, SO IT IS NOT WORTH THE EFFORT TO BUY IT, BECAUSE SURELY, AT SOME POINT, THE BOTTOM IRON WILL STAY IN THE DIRT AND THEN IT WILL NOT BE REPAIRED. LUCKILY WE TRUST GREEK PRODUCTS.
I managed to break it because I hit it on a hard surface, so it opened where the plastic is hit and now it opens and comes out where it goes into the ground. It needs some fixing or throwing away. But if you pay attention to where you nail it, it will last many summers easily

I made a mistake in measuring the diameter and got 32 mm instead of 26mm. So, I came up with a solution. I inserted the bottom tube of the umbrella inside (after cutting it about 10cm) and now it is even more convenient and the umbrella is at the perfect height.
The umbrella showed irreparable damage after 5 total uses. It did not withstand 3-4Bft wind despite being supported from both sides with pegs
With incredibly powerful air and doesn't move an inch! It's worth every penny and more. Don't think about it, get it! We got it along with a Maui umbrella and it's by far the best purchase of the summer!
Very good construction, worth its money, quite heavy. When it is placed in the sand, the umbrella remains steady no matter how much it blows.
A must-have accessory that will make a good umbrella, perfect. It is a bit heavy, I have to admit that, keep that in mind, but it is not unnecessarily heavy. It is a very high-quality and durable product that I don't know if it could be equally high-quality if it was lighter. If you put it in properly, it won't come out even in a hurricane. Neither will you be able to take it out if you don't shake it enough in a circular motion to open the hole for it to come out. And of course, the only place where I had difficulty setting up the umbrella with this was a beach that had continuous rocks just below the sand, so I had quite a hard time piercing the rock. But if you don't need to pierce a rock, you will be able to set it up anywhere. Highly recommended.
There is a reason why you see it everywhere on every beach. It works. The truth is that it bothered me to spend so much on an umbrella stand, but it solves the problem once and for all. It goes very deep very easily and is as sturdy as an umbrella stand can be. Definitely much better than the 'screws' that are circulating. Obviously, it won't save you on non-sandy beaches.
I have used it only 2 times, I had another anonymous one in the past, this one seems significantly more qualitative, I hope it will last over time...
The evolution in beach umbrella! Very convenient tool! It's worth the little extra weight of carrying it! Be careful to take it at the (largest) diameter of the BOTTOM pole of the umbrella so that you can make use of its full height.

I don't know how I was living before I bought this product!! In literally 10 seconds, you put up your umbrella easily, simply, and without it being taken by the wind or needing to deal with it again! The only thing I have to say is that this is a necessary product for anyone who wants to save not only effort and time (trying to stabilize the umbrella in the heat) but also anxiety (it's not ideal for the wind to take the umbrella and scare you, potentially causing injury).

I have used it a few times so far and it is excellent. It even goes into dense sand with a few extra hits at the beginning, and comes out very easily! I don't have an opinion on durability yet. However, I feel happy with the purchase.
Very easy to use, with 3-5 hits it penetrates the ground sufficiently and is extremely stable. It is more likely for the umbrella to dissolve from the wind, rather than the hammer moving from its position. We will see about its durability over time.
It's worth its money, that's for sure! It's relatively heavy, no comparison to the common sticks or aluminum ones that are flimsy.. it's easy to install and keeps your head steady, nothing moves!!

All it needs is a wash to remove the salts and it will never break.
I've had mine for 5 years and at some point the screw broke from tightening it too much.
I contacted the guys at Golden Fleece, went to one of their service centers in Agios Dimitrios, they changed the screw and it's ready.
By the way, I've also broken tiles during a bathroom renovation.

As for its weight, that's why it's immortal.
I did not use it to have an opinion on its quality and durability, but I decided to return it due to its heavy weight. It weighs the same or even more than a 2.2m beach umbrella with an aluminum frame.
You can also do excavation with this specific shovel, very sturdy and does its job perfectly with 6 Beaufort and with a 2.4-meter umbrella it didn't move at all. It is suitable for dimensions of 28 to 30mm
