[...] For educational purposes, this textbook is divided into three sections. In the section "Developmental Biology," the gametogenesis, fertilization, embryonic development of sea urchin, frog, bird, and human, as well as the mechanisms that play a significant role in development and morphogenesis, are described. In the section "Histology," the ontogenesis, structure of various human tissues (as well as some animals), and certain elements of physiology and anatomy are briefly described, in order to establish a parallel between structure and function. Using the same logic, the section "Microscopic Anatomy" is also constructed. Here, the structure and function of certain organs and systems are described, and attention is drawn to the differences and similarities between them. [...]
