It says non-stick and it really is! Very easy to use, it informs you when to flip the crepe and when it is ready, by lighting up the green light! Fantastic and large crepes. The wooden tools are very helpful! For anyone who loves crepes.. it should not be missing from their kitchen! Buy it without hesitation!

Conclusion: The best for amateur use. Chinese (the izzy brand and others disappeared in the first months) but ultimately reliable.
Tips:
Always set the potentiometer to the maximum.
Throw away the wooden tools that come with it and buy a set from a store like Sklavenitis. Only use wood in contact with the plate.
Never wash it. Clean with kitchen paper.
Make a 2-meter extension cord because its cable is short.
Pour out the batter. When it turns golden brown in the thin spots, it is ready to be flipped. That's when it easily comes off. After almost daily use for about 10 months, I have to say that it hasn't had any issues. I bought a small cable extension and solved the length issue.
