  This review is about a variation of the product

  Main: CANNOT PRINT IN GREEK!!!

  In short:
  - If you want a small, affordable, standalone portable printer without Greek characters, choose this one.
  - If you want to print in Greek, go for models with PC connection. For network, check out the E550, E300. The E550 combines everything and is the best.

  I bought it on sale for €35, in a case, with a power supply and one tape. I wanted it for labeling, networks, cables, panels. Overall, it didn't work for me, even though it's portable.
  Compared to the basic 100 series models the company offers, this one has the ability for cable wrap, cable flag, faceplate, but NOT patch panel!! So, it's not suitable for networks and you have to go for a different model. It also has many symbols for electricians/networks/warning signs/extra materials, which the basic economical label maker series doesn't have.

  The keyboard is rubber, QWERTY, with a good feel. The screen is one line + symbols above and below, average, without backlight. Overall, it's not suitable for low lighting.
  It has a convenient small size, while the case can hold 5 tapes + 1 in the printer. I have different widths and colors for what I need inside the case.

  It accepts tapes up to 12 mm, wide enough for cables, sockets, control panels, etc., but not for labeling like cabinets, panels, etc., which require 18 or 24 mm. Anyway, I didn't need that for its use.

  The disappointment came when I realized that it DOES NOT print in Greek. Even as symbols (tedious), it only has: α, β, γ, δ, Φ, λ, μ, Ω, Σ. I really can't understand how difficult it is to at least include uppercase letters, which are missing from the Latin alphabet!

  Regarding the printing width, e.g., for faceplates, the minimum is 30 mm and the maximum is 300 mm. The length counter indicates the tape to be used, not the text. So, you can easily make mistakes in calculations, like printing something narrower or labels on facades.

  It has a preview feature to give you an idea, but don't expect much on a one-line screen.
  It can print in 2 lines (both letters and symbols), but the quality is reduced due to resolution.
  It DOES NOT support different formats on the same line or in 2 lines, e.g., bold symbol or letter and then regular, regular on top and bold below, different sizes, etc. So, if you print multiple labels on one line, all letters will be the same.

  A positive aspect is that it has serialization, so if you want to print an icon with the number 1 next to it and end up with the number 15, you select 1, indicate up to 15, and it creates 15 consecutive stickers with a separator for scissors.

  It consumes batteries relatively quickly, I don't know how it performs with rechargeable ones, I only use the power supply and batteries when I'm somewhere without electricity.
  The positive thing is that it retains the last settings/symbol usage, so you don't have to start from scratch.

  It consumes tapes, like all label makers, without half-cut, you need scissors. Unfortunately, that's how the tape works and there's a useless piece at the beginning of each print.
  For tapes, you can check online, where you can get a cassette for less than €3. You can reduce margins and try to print in sequence what you need to save tape.

  In the end, I bought an older, cheaper model for PC for €40, with tape up to 24 mm, and I'm using the program it has and doing wonders! The index in the program is real, you correctly calculate how everything will appear, flawless WYSIWYG. I printed difficult labels for Patch Panels with icons, text, special layouts, etc., which really stood out and cannot be done by a handheld printer. The program supports all the functions you encounter in ALL Brother models!! It accepts your own images, icons, etc.

  If you go for a model with Bluetooth, you will have difficulty with the mobile application (see user comments).

  It does not have Greek and on each label it wastes at least 2.5 centimeters of white tape. In order to print 3 centimeters, I have to waste almost double the tape and cut it with scissors! And if I'm not mistaken, this applies to most models. I am not satisfied with its function regarding tape waste.

  Useless product as it does not have Greek characters. If it is possible to sell a product that does not have instructions in Greek or the font of the language!
