Useless from the first 10 minutes....when it turns off it doesn't turn back on...bought a year ago and it's permanently in service and right now at the dealership....

First day I put it to work and the chain doesn't turn. The problem was in the lid which was crooked and the brake was permanently on the bell. The plastic parts are fake, the power is mediocre. For its price, it is good and doesn't burn anything, it is very economical.

Very good machine. Definitely value for money. 4 years since purchase, it has pulled a lot of oars mainly in rough waters. Always with good grease on the chain, proper oil ratio in the fuel and its annual maintenance. I recommend it as powerful and reliable.

The most reliable and honest saw that one can buy. Never had any issues for the past 4 years! I bought a second one for my father too! Very powerful with the right oil (I use Husqvarna) and proper warming up. Buy it with closed eyes. What else can one say? The best 200 euros I've ever spent.

The tool was purchased to avoid cheap Chinese ones, although this one is made in China but with Italian specifications. I cut eucalyptus trunks from a frozen tree and it cut through 3-4 year old dry hard wood like butter. If you are cutting large trunks, choose a bigger model, although I think this one can handle a bigger blade of 5 cm. In other words, it becomes 51 cm.

This review is about the blade length: 50 cm

I bought it as a second chainsaw exclusively for cutting large trees and splitting logs. For all other tasks, I have a smaller Stihl. I use the Stihl about 80% of the time because the Oleo mac is clearly more tiring to use due to its weight and it has vibrations. Contrary to other reviews, it starts very difficultly because the fuel pump does not work properly. Other than that, it is a very powerful machine, it takes over when the Stihl gets stuck. I am satisfied with the purchase I made and I have had it since 2019. I would not recommend it for professional use because it is tiring, nor for someone who is using a chainsaw for the first time because it is indeed very powerful, the brake is activated by applying a lot of force, and overall, in the hands of a beginner, I consider it dangerous

I am writing for the inexperienced amateurs. Chainsaws, when they are 50 cubic centimeters and above, should be heavy. They don't expect the gasoline to run out and then continue. We clean the filter when we finish. The size of the blade depends on the horsepower.

Very good and more comfortable than the Nakayama 6700. It seems weaker but that's not a problem. Overall, I cut olives of various sizes without any issues. I believe you won't regret it. I am satisfied with its amateur use, just like the Nakayama which I still use for larger logs after servicing.

I have it for the third year at €180, it's very good but heavy for continuous use, however, it doesn't hesitate at all. I have cut about 4-ton wood this year, it cuts whatever you want, starts easily after a year of inactivity with five pulls. I always clean it and always keep it empty of gasoline for long periods, just like my other tools

The chainsaw is very good in everything! Easy start.. I have been using it for 7-8 months already.
Just need to put good gasoline,
and mix it with good oil and it will start the first time, and it even has power, because with the style I had before it was running oil everywhere in the car, it was also stylish,...
At least so far this works well, the (Oleo) works great...

It is the sixth Oleo Mak that I have bought in thirty years with small and large chainsaws, and with other expensive, well-known brands. The Oleo Mak is on another level in all aspects. Throughout all these years, they have proven to be the best.

After reading reviews here, I decided to purchase a medium-powered chainsaw. I own an AMA2510 pruning saw and a Stihl 51av. I haven't tested its durability yet as I've only had it for 2 weeks, but because many people mention difficult starting, I wanted to help with something I didn't know myself.
When you start it and have the air open, it doesn't need more than three pulls, even if it doesn't sound like it's firing because it easily floods afterward. Then you close the air and it starts on the next three pulls. Once it warms up, it starts immediately. I went through the process of writing this to help those who mention difficult starting.
As for vibrations and weight, compared to the Stihl I have, this feels like handling and lifting a poly pocket.

It concerns the gsh 400 (40cm).
The chainsaw is very good in everything! Easy start... powerful enough for its category compared to a Stihl that I had worked with, it has more power... it shows good construction... time will tell about its durability... I think for its price, it is the best!
Just so you know... because I didn't know... the screw for adjusting the chain oil only turns about a third... turning it more easily breaks the stop... I experienced it due to ignorance and curiosity

I am in the 4th year of use mainly for olive and almond trees. Very satisfied with the cutting it does and overall how it works, it has cut down many trees... The only downside I find is that after each use it needs cleaning the filter if it fills with sawdust it starts to fade at some point. I would buy it again.

The most powerful saw I have ever tried. I think for 199 euros I couldn't have bought better. I have many Oleomac machines. The Italians are unbeatable in two-stroke engines. I cut 4-5 trees per year but I also use it for garden furniture construction. Fearlessly!

The positives: The machine is powerful but a bit heavy, especially cuts the trunks very easily with the Oregon chain.
The negatives: After a year of use, the electronics broke (it would get confused when it heated up and if it turned off, it wouldn't start again until it cooled down). I took it for repair 5 times since it's still under warranty, but they kept telling me they fixed it and that there's no problem with the electronics. I wasted 3 months going back and forth to bring the machine from the village to Athens. They didn't fix anything, so I bought an electronic part myself and fixed it for 40 euros. Now it works perfectly again. If anything changes, I will update. I probably wouldn't buy it again because one important reason I bought it was the warranty, which is nonexistent.

Very sturdy construction and 3 horsepower! Its motor has a lot of power and, combined with the 45 cm blade and the 325 Oregon logging chain, it doesn't struggle with any tree. Last year I cut 4 tons of wood and this year 7 tons, and I chopped them up with no problem. No issues.

As another user has written, it doesn't start up that easily. Not due to clogging but because of high resistance. The plastic handle broke from the resistance of the rope. It cuts well, is powerful, has no vibrations, and restarts with a warm engine immediately. It is definitely high quality. If it had an easy start system like the Stihl, it would be perfect because the hard pull at the start is very annoying.
P.S.: with an x-cut chain, it becomes incredibly good.
P.S.2: over time, the pull at the start has become easier, the resistance has decreased. So I'm raising the rating from four to five stars.
P.S.3: After 1+ year of complete disuse, it started on the first pull almost. Proof of quality.

It starts very easily, easy to use even for beginners. Time will show its reliability. Also, the entire "H" series of Oleo-Mac is made in China.
Update - The first negative thing is that the air filter is quite cheap. Dust passes through the intake because it is detachable and was "fixed"

Although it is a new model, I bought it with hesitation if it is good. Eventually, on its very first use in a field with 15 olive tree roots that had become like a jungle, it cleaned it completely. The chainsaw worked non-stop and had absolutely no problem. It is amazing.

On the first day, the clutch got stuck and almost caught fire. I sent it to the dealership and they reluctantly repaired it and sent it back to me without offering a replacement. The representative provided no assistance. So, every time I try to do something, it causes damage. I have sent it to the dealership three times now, but I am not getting anywhere. One time they told me they replaced the entire engine. Yet, the scooter still has the same issues. I have been crying over my money for a year now, as I have never been able to use it for work. In this one year, it hasn't even managed to work for 20 minutes.
