When Fofi met Minas, a handsome cadet of the Navy, she fell in love with him instantly and did everything to become his wife. And when she succeeded, she believed she was the happiest woman in the world. Twenty years later, her marriage has tested her every endurance due to her husband's infidelities, who never misses an opportunity to belittle her. Over the years, the once slender girl has become an overweight, unkempt woman, whom even her two teenage children seem not to respect. Having lost all self-respect and being on the verge of depression, a minor accident leads her to a physiotherapy clinic in the middle of summer, while her family abandons her alone in the heat of Athens to not miss their vacation.

The fact that everyone is completely indifferent to her condition, plus that she has to undress in front of the physiotherapist, a particularly charming young man, makes her feel so bad that she makes a big decision. To empty the refrigerator of its burden and finally lose her excess weight by starting a strict diet.
