Το πιό ποιοτικό παπούτσι τρεξίματος που έχω φορέσει εδώ και 20 χρόνια που τρέχω συστηματικά. Πολύ καλή εφαρμογή στο πόδι, καθοδηγεί αποφασιστικά το πάτημα. Ίσως είναι λίγο περισσότερο σταθερό (Stability) και σαφές απ' ότι ζητά ο μικρός βαθμός πλατυποδίας, αλλά σε καμμία περίπτωση ενοχλητικό. Παρότι το πήρα με έκπτωση, πιστεύω ότι οι τιμές στα παπούτσια είναι γενικότερα αρκετά ψηλές.

Very good support for people with flat feet and/or wide feet. Very good fabric. Durable over time. My only observation concerns how much they bother in terms of posture. I consider them purely for running and not suitable for posture.

For wide feet, these shoes are not suitable even though they have elastic fabric.

Unfortunately, they are very warm and tight, resulting in blisters always forming on my toes and forcing me to stop running until the wounds heal. I tried removing the removable insole they have, sacrificing some protection for the sole, but the shoe is still very warm.
I have gotten them in a size +1 from my normal size, and I also use special socks for running from a well-known chain of stores that sell sports goods and clothing.

Maybe they are better for winter, but I still do not recommend this model for wide feet.

They are worth 500%! (110€)

They are ideal for frequent long-distance running because their sole contains FlyteFoam, Dynamic, DuoMax, Guidance Trussic System, and AHAR. In other words, it does not wear out, does not lose its shock absorption, and provides proper support where the foot needs it when it needs it.

The Kayano shoes are ideal for stable foot placement, meaning the foot and push-off and landing are always in the correct-optimal position. The ankle remains stable thanks to the plastic casing around the heel, and the shoe is always "one" with the foot thanks to the inner rubber underneath the surface fabric. Additionally, their sole is designed to always bring the foot to the correct position.

I emphasize that the Kayano shoes belong to the stability category and not the neutral Asics. This means that the structured shoes shape the way the foot behaves and allow it little freedom. Their purpose is to limit incorrect walking (perhaps due to a condition or during marathon running) so that the foot does not get strained, which is why they feel firm. Neutral shoes are softer and hug the foot more loosely than stability shoes, which is why they feel more like cushions.

Each category has its purpose, so it is more correct to try shoes from all the categories that Asics offers and know what kind of use you want them for. The Kayano shoes are one of Asics' oldest models (25 years), which alone shows that a lot of study and research has gone into creating the correct sole for running. These specific shoes, as I mentioned, are masterful for long-distance/frequent running. I do not recommend them for those looking for athletic shoes for walking or orthostasis.

The only negative is their weight. Nowadays, there are many much lighter running shoes and new technologies aimed at that! So it is a bit unacceptable that they are so heavy, especially considering that this is their 25th model! Perhaps this gives them extra points for durability, but that remains to be seen in the future.

Also, all this support is not felt and does not hinder during exercise, which gives them extra points (those who know what I mean will understand).

Ουδέτερο πάτημα, εφαρμόζει μια χαρά, Μετά από αρκετά χιλιόμετρα καταλαβαίνεις ότι άξιζε η δαπάνη, γιατί δεν επιβαρύνονται οι αρθρώσεις. Εξαιρετικά διαπνέον, το πόδι, τωρα το χειμώνα παραμένει δροσερό. Είναι επίσης, τόσο ελαφρύ που ξεχνάς ότι φοράς παπούτσι.
