Unfortunately, I was so sure it would work that I installed it by cutting the cable to pass through a hole, so my warranty doesn't cover it, the supplier told me.
It worked constantly even without water. I threw it away as it was with the box.
It seems like a well-made construction for its price. The brochure is useless, nothing about how to adjust the float. It is described as having a 1 1/2" pipe outlet, but while the outlet has a 1 1/2" thread, the connecting tail is for 1 1/4" or 1" pipes. This means an additional 10 Euros to purchase the correct pipe connection fitting.
I will write just to help someone who is looking for a pump. First of all, the pump is special for its price. Secondly, and most importantly, its built-in float (I have a pump of this type for 10 years and I don't change it) empties the water until the pump catches the other one with the cable, what a nonsense! You struggle to adjust the cable, while with this one, you just throw it in and that's it. It also has an adjustment for the float. And guys, whoever buys a pump, put a hose with the maximum diameter, don't let them sell you a narrow one. I put it in a well and it throws the water out easily. But as I said, for its price, it is special, it is not a top construction, otherwise, there is a similar one from Metabo for 220 euros that I bought about 10 years ago for 130 euros if I remember correctly.
I have it in a basement sump, I had an old pump that broke due to my negligence.
For now, it seems much better than the previous one, it has good construction and easy installation.
It has been working for twenty days, so I can't have an opinion on its durability, but due to its construction, I think it will be great.
