Now, the parent who writes that the straps are short either did something wrong or their child is a born basketball player. The straps are long enough to secure a five or six-year-old child, who of course does not need straps at that age. Its stability is not at all comparable to an expensive seat. Basically, it is not stable at all, like all seats in its category. Personally, I tied the seat's headrest to the car's headrest with a motorcycle elastic band, and thus, with a "trick," it gained stability. Otherwise, I consider it dangerous in the event of a collision.
