The texts presented in this volume are the result of different orientations and reflect the wealth of knowledge produced during the recent and controversial period regarding the causes and consequences of the crisis in the lives and living conditions of people living in Greek territory. At the same time, they converge towards the view that the crisis is changing the previously prevailing example of social policy towards a more unfavorable development in terms of meeting their needs and living decently.
