In a rich and informative interview, with the occasion of his invitation to Japan, Pierre Delion, an important figure in contemporary French psychiatry and child psychiatry, develops in a particularly understandable and clear way the basic concepts and historical origins of a critical and reformist current of thought that contributed to the therapeutic reform of psychiatric institutions and institutions, the development of the social dimension of psychiatry, and the strengthening of the psychiatric sector (community psychiatry). At the same time, he highlights the contribution of psychoanalysis to the formation of the concept of the therapeutic framework, as a "bearing" function tailored to each individual patient.
