[...] World War II and the so-called "Cold War" changed the course of history, affecting the lives of many people around the world. The same happened in Greece, where political conflicts divided the inhabitants into two opposing factions, perpetuating the "national division" of previous decades. Many of the protagonists spoke and wrote about the events, but most chose silence, wanting to forget and turn the page in their lives.

Ms. Fani Iona belongs to the latter category, who at the age of 16 was abducted by the guerrillas of the "Democratic Army" on the night of August 11th to 12th, 1948. [...]
