In the book "Programming with Python" we will see how Python is a widely used programming language.

It is a language with impressive internal consistency, which supports a wide range of modern programming ideas, while offering a comprehensive development environment, elements that make it suitable as an introduction to programming. It is supported by a plethora of libraries and an active community, resulting in its widespread use in productive environments of any scale.

The purpose of the book is, on the one hand, to introduce the reader to programming with the Python language, and on the other hand, to demonstrate its indicative use in a series of more specialized subjects.

To this end, the chapters of the book are grouped into two parts. The first part is a comprehensive examination of the majority of language elements. Their follow-up does not require previous programming knowledge.

The second part deals with a series of specialized uses of Python, which can be considered fundamental in modern ICT. Effort has been made for the second part to have an encyclopedic tone. In this context, the book can also be used as a practical introduction to several modern basic information technologies.
