I ordered a silver one and they sent me a defective black one. Now try to untangle or contact Skroutz. I am starting to reconsider my opinions about Skroutz because it is impersonal and there is no way to communicate. If something goes wrong, you can't untangle it because you can't simply communicate. So I will seriously consider whether I will buy something from Skroutz again. I got it home, I was satisfied until it was time to clean it. So I run the cleaning program letter by letter, and as soon as I reach the second point after filling the tank with water and pressing the single coffee button for 3 seconds with the on button, suddenly it shows me the water indication that no matter what I do it shows me the indication that the water tank is empty. There is no way to clean it. I don't know what to do, I feel like throwing it away and losing hundreds of euros.
The first impression after a few days of intensive use is that the machine is satisfactorily high-quality, simple to use (not so simple to maintain)... However, it has some "disadvantages" that don't deduct points from the machine, but rather require you to adapt to the machine and its use in order to have a good relationship with it. 1. The coffee bean container could be bigger. 2. The water tank, although quite large, empties very quickly because the machine uses water for self-cleaning when turned on and off. ALWAYS fill the water tank so that there is enough water for making coffee. If it runs out of water, it stops brewing, discards the puck, and you end up with a hole in the water! This leads to 3. The water collection container is small. The front and back sections communicate, but the front fills up very quickly, and if you let the back fill up above the middle, it is possible to spill it when you go to empty it if the sink is not close by. The coffee collection container is quite satisfactory in terms of capacity and is very easy to empty. I am waiting for fresh coffee to do more "sophisticated" tests, but the machine is very satisfactory. Now, if it were 50-60 euros cheaper, I would say get it with your eyes closed, don't even think about it. For 300+ euros, there are several other machines that can be compared, but I don't have an opinion because this is the first automatic bean-to-cup machine I have used. Overall, 5/5 because it is very honest for the introductory category of this type of machine.
After a month and a half of daily use, a "light" turned on indicating the need for descaling, according to the manual. It requires descaling liquid and a cleaning tablet. It could have included a "sample" at least for the first time. I couldn't find the product code anywhere, and the process involves pressing buttons and flashing LEDs and placing the coffee collection container on the spout to collect the water (as mentioned before, the water collection container fills up very quickly with regular use!). It doesn't prevent you from continuing to use the machine, but it's a bit annoying, to tell the truth. I don't know if I should deduct a star for these issues, but they could have made sure to provide samples for cleaning, so you know what to buy. The fact that it needed descaling after a month and a half, while it says it should be done every 3 months if I'm not mistaken, I don't know what's going on. Maybe I've made too many coffees (I think it says somewhere around 200 coffees, but I'm not 100% sure)
Well. one of the cheapest options among automatic machines. I have no experience with similar ones. If you find the right dosage according to the coffee you want to make, it makes great coffee. Easy to use, no issues. Adjustable 5-stage grinder. Coffee intensity has 3 levels, for now, I have it at maximum intensity, I haven't tried anything else. And an analog switch that determines the amount of liquid in ml that will come out when you press the button. That's the essence. After tests and several failed coffees, the dosage that satisfies me for a freddo is: grinder at the second finest grind. Full intensity, and 2 doses of 35 ml of liquid. Unfortunately, you have to experiment to find the ml, it's not explained in writing. It requires a scale and tests. This way, I make coffee without any exaggeration, it tastes like it's from a coffee shop. Very easy to clean. It also has an application that is supposed to notify for descaling. Time will tell now. Patience and good coffees.

My experience with MELITTA started by purchasing a French press coffee maker that was very good. I bought this specific one and I can say that it is excellent. The espresso is like the ones in cafes, with a very nice crema, and after a few tries, it is easy to handle. I definitely recommend it.
Perfect freshly ground coffee with a nice froth in just a few minutes. I have stopped getting coffee from outside since the taste of this coffee is infinitely better.
