On Monday, October 1, 2018, a seminar entitled "Judicial cooperation in cross-border cases in the European Union - Current issues and developments" was organized at the Center for International and European Economic Law (CIEEL), with the donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The organization of the seminar is part of a two-year research program, which Ms. Virginia Tzortzi is conducting as a researcher at CIEEL, with the generous funding of SNF. Distinguished personalities from the academic and judicial field participated in the seminar.

The seminar addressed issues of daily judicial practice and provided a framework for the exchange of views on matters of high theoretical and practical interest, among academics specialized in EU civil and criminal law, judges, and lawyers.
