A main advantage of using a mattress cover is that it creates a protective surface between the sheet and the mattress and can be washed as often as you want, while the main selection characteristic is the correct width of the cover to cover the entire surface and the sides of the mattress as it easily fits on the mattress with the elastic perimeter fabric (border) it has.

    Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with this specific mattress. The border is less than 30 centimeters (at least in the ones I received) and the elastic is loose, the fit is not particularly stable. As for absorbency, it is almost non-existent. If water falls on it and I don't remove it immediately, it penetrates the mattress within a minute and wets the bed. And it has happened more than once.. On the other hand, in contrast to their absorbency, every time I have put them in the washing machine, they have not suffered the slightest damage or distortion of their seams, they are very durable and I have had them for 2+ years.
