Description

As time goes by, the figure of I.N. Theodorakopoulos becomes clearer and brighter within us and within the spiritual breasts of our Nation - a figure that is honorable and profoundly great for Greek culture and the spiritual destiny of Europe. Because time is the cold crucible from which, as a person resting in the mother earth passes through, they return to life transformed, with the characteristics of the spirit and nothing else.

From this distance created by the tragic rift of death, we see I.N. Theodorakopoulos standing high, very high, at the forefront of the spiritual forces of the Nation that he tirelessly served. He was a blessed fountainhead from which many in this land were refreshed and gained awareness of themselves and their Greekness. He taught the young and the mature the great lessons of the spirit and educated them in a Greek manner with a soul constantly embraced by the vision of an uninterrupted Greek mission. He never saw Greece as the fruit of historical chance, but as an organic development of a world that shapes instruments to achieve its dehumanization. And for I.N.T., Greece was the supreme instrument of the dehumanization of the Ecumene. Through such vision, he contemplated and interpreted Plato, the Fathers of the Church, and contemporary philosophers, thus managing to decipher the enigma of History.

He was the great teacher of Hellenism, the inspired educator of the Greeks, the poetic thinker, the athlete of the spirit, the enormous cornerstone that stood at the head of our Nation. Through the dramatic experience of his spiritual constituents, he saw Europe and the whole world and tried to encompass them within the Greekness that was for him the ultimate goal of civilization.

The texts that make up this "Notebook" interpret the personality and determine the spiritual contribution of I.N. Theodorakopoulos. May they be a laurel branch on his silent tomb.
