Description

A scientific approach to Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education that concerns any reader (student, student, educator, etc.) who deals with Computational Experiment as a combination of the classic experiment.

It is known that the use of computers in Science and Education in the Sciences includes: numerical analysis, symbolic manipulation, visualization, modeling - simulation, and data collection.

The book describes the problem-solving stages, integrated into computational science, incorporating the above without canceling mixtures and assumed scientific equations that have certainly not benefited the introduction of ICT in education.

This book aims to explore the relationship of computational environments with modeling, support framework, metacognition, and learning theories so that education in the sciences becomes interdisciplinary, at the common borders of the cognitive object, computational science, pedagogy, teaching practice, cognitive science, epistemology, and information theory, while at the same time scientifically defining educational technology within the framework of computational science.

The book contains detailed scenarios for the application of Computational Experiment where the teaching-learning sequence favors the development of exploratory and expressive models as well as algorithmic thinking without a deficit of scientificity.

Finally, it is expected to be a useful handbook for undergraduate and postgraduate level and for the training of educators in ICT in Education.

Review this product
  • As a book for educational use of new technologies, it is a complete disappointment.
