Easily reaches 120Mbit/s (Cosmote Gigamax Unlimited). Fast with easy installation. It also contains options for mode complex routing situations if you have more than one network in place.
I use it mainly for remote work at my country house. So far, it has been very good and it reaches a distance of 50 meters as long as it is in an area with good signal. At first, it requires a little attention for the initial setup and I also recommend that the SIM card you use has the PIN deactivated (this can be done through the settings of all mobile devices). If the card has a PIN, you will need to enter it in the application from your mobile phone and register it. I did not experience any signal instability whether I was working or just watching a movie, etc. I also had 2 computers, 3 mobile phones, and 1 smart TV connected without any issues. I wish I had bought it earlier!
I have the MR600 for a year now. Very stable.
My decision to buy the 4+G supported by this model and not just a 4G, even if it's a bit more expensive, was correct. I borrowed the 4G from my son and tried both in the same position. At first, both reached around 40 Mbps, a second later the boost of 4+G kicked in and reached 70 Mbps. The worst measurement I had was 27 Mbps. The best was 98 Mbps.
One more piece of information: The placement of the device plays a big role. Try it in every room where you can have the best signal. I had up to -60% interference.
I bought it in May 2022 to install it in a summer house in Halkidiki for a 6-month use. Since the requirements were high (remote work, entertainment, and gaming), I was also considering solutions like Starlink, but I decided to first try how I would manage with the mobile network and this router. I can say that the device performed excellently. It worked non-stop for 6 months and didn't need a single restart.
Speeds were at 90-110 Mbps download (during periods of low network load). The lowest measurement, around August 15th, was around 10 Mbps (but that's understandable due to network congestion).
If you pair it with an unlimited package or prepaid internet (note that Cosmote offers unlimited for 3 months with €25), you can have internet in your summer house at a very low cost. It truly saved me, and I hope I can continue using it for many more years.
I only have good things to say. Approximately 3 months in a vacation home in an area with poor signal, this serves perfectly for many devices together many times simultaneously (alarm, 3 IP cameras, 2 smart TVs, 3 mobile phones, 2 tablets, one of which is being used by the kid playing, 1 laptop that I work remotely on, 3 smart air conditioners, 1 smart blu-ray player, 1 Wi-Fi switch heater) and all of these in a 2-story building of 95 sq.m! It needed a restart once and maybe it was my fault for mistakenly connecting 1 device with 2 Ethernet ports and blocking it! It's simply a super tool and I hope it lasts for as long!!!
Well done TPLink. We happened to have an internet problem in V. Evia at the moment, and all the mobiles in the family (5 with Cosmote) have Edge on our signal. But this router continues to work as much as it can with its powerful antennas, capable of allowing me to play Lineage without any lag. I can also browse pages and watch videos on YouTube, with a slight delay but it still downloads them. Take a look at the 2 photos and you will understand. Well done TPLink.
One month of operation in the countryside and there were no issues. Maybe it needed a restart once. The installation is very easy, truly plug and play, as long as you have unlocked the SIM card so it doesn't ask for a PIN. The speed is not the best, but the truth is that there is a signal problem in the area, especially during the summer months when it gets crowded with vacationers. Currently, I haven't seen 3 bars of signal strength. Only two. However, it works fine with Cosmote without many problems. Sometimes it drops the quality, but overall it operates smoothly.
The product is not good. Yes, it is very easy to install, yes, it is very stable in its operation, but in terms of speed, it is bad. Compared to 3 mobile phones, it is quite slow. The mentioned mobile phones are the Samsung Galaxy S21+, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, and Samsung Galaxy A22. And all 3 mobile phones, set to 4G+ in my settings, give me an average download speed of 70-75 Mbps. This particular router failed to exceed 35 Mbps after multiple tests over the course of a week. As for the upload, it ranged around the same levels as the mobile phones (35-40 Mbps). I was disappointed with the download speed and cannot recommend this router to anyone.
I inserted the sim card from my mobile phone after removing the pin, and it worked almost immediately once it was turned on. Initially, it gives 2 signals (each frequency separately). I downloaded the App on my mobile phone and clicked on settings, and it was ready in 2 steps. Initially, you enter your own details to connect to the router next time, and then it gives you the option to set the WiFi name and password, so it basically guides you step by step. After changing the name, I was of course looking for the second signal because I didn't know that after the new settings, it automatically selects the fastest network. Also, please note that because it takes a micro sim, the package includes an adapter for nano sim and a sticker in the size of the micro sim. This is great because before receiving it, I was looking for my own sim card adapter and tape, but they were not needed in the end!
I got this specific router after a long search on forums.
Don't expect it to reach speeds that mobile phones reach.
Specifically, the iPhone 12 Pro Max reaches 130 to 138 mbps at a specific point in the house.
The router consistently reaches 87-96 mbps at the same point. I consider the difference not so big.
I am very satisfied, it doesn't restart or lose its signal.
The truth is that it is relatively expensive compared to others, but the difference is noticeable.
The cheapest TP-Link is currently around 60-65€ in the market, reaching a maximum of 29 mbps at the same point in the house.
A significant upgrade for my home internet since I live in a village and could barely reach 5-6 mbps with the lines of OTE.
It works with an unlimited COSMOTE sim.
Don't even think about it if you are looking for a reliable solution for fast internet.
In a good spot at home, it is just what I need and it reaches 150 mbps on speedtest with mobile and 5g I have 200 and... The deviation is small compared to what providers offer in areas without fiber coverage.. It is worth it for me, I have been saved
A little expensive but... Pistol!
Solved the 8-month problem of finding a position at KAFΑΟ (the well-known OTE, my animals are slow, let's have a conversation, okay we'll dig in about 6 months, maybe even 10 years).
Combined with TP-Link Deco and the whole house is a bell with 4G+, easily reaching 20-45 Mbps.
If you are more central than me (it's a dead end mountain), you may even see 80-100!
I believe with an external antenna, I won't beg for a stable line again.
Not to mention that you can also get it in the village if you're lucky due to the SIM.
With a good package offer with unlimited carefree access everywhere and anywhere!
Very good signal which of course depends solely on the mobile signal excellent construction quality but be careful the SIM card pin must be disabled first on a mobile device and then inserted into the modem otherwise it will not work
It is an excellent product and essentially delivers what it promises. It does not lag at all and many people can connect simultaneously with very fast speeds.
I have been working here for about 6 months. Very stable, it reaches the same speeds as the mobile phone (which is very good, usually 4G routers have worse wifi modems than mobile phones) and generally in an area with poor network coverage, it always has good signal reception and stability. I bought it for 100€, so it is definitely worth it for that price and more.
Edit: After a year and a half and apart from a restart that is needed once a month, I am completely satisfied. In many cases, due to the dual band, it achieves better speeds than the S21 Ultra mobile phone (usually much better upload). And at 120-130€, it's definitely worth it, guys
