Those who have dealt with Fitzek's previous readings may be able to predict some developments in the story. However, this particular author always has a way of surprising us.   From what I have read of Fitjek so far, it is his best... I haven't read "The Package" yet (it's next and I have expectations). It kept me company, it caught my interest, it made me a co-conspirator in solving the puzzles, and the twist at the end surprised me!!! Generally, I am one of those smart people who think they understand everything and raise an eyebrow as they read, believing they have "caught" the author's intentions. There are times when I succeed, but it didn't happen here. Personally, I fell for it, I found it incredibly clever in terms of plot and structure. It's the second time Fitjek has surprised me, the first was in "The Treatment". It's a book that generously gives you everything it promises at the beginning and makes you part of the experiment (literally). The author is so smart that he "holds" you in the reading until the final lines of gratitude, you know those last pages after the end of the story where he simply thanks everyone who contributed to the publication and production of the book... and he does it masterfully, provoking - inviting you to read until the end because even there he has hidden something for his readers. If you like psychological thrillers, with puzzles, twists, and clever plots, then get it... drop anchor and enjoy reading because "The Experiment" is your next book.

  The book is relatively good but only up to a certain point.

  It starts off very well and ends somewhat decently. The issue is the middle part, specifically from around page 200 to 300, where it becomes slow. The characters are not anything special but I wouldn't say they are bad either. The writing style is decent but only up to a certain extent. The book benefits from the fairly good concept it has.

  It is the third book I am reading by this author.
  One better than the other, with THE EXPERIMENT reaching the top for me.
  At first, it didn't excite me, it seemed a bit messy with very few details about the protagonist, throwing you from one character to another without many explanations. However, the way it was written is unlike the others. Much more captivating than the previous ones and suspenseful. It doesn't have chapters, it is quite impressive, it could easily become a movie. Although from the beginning some things seemed to hint at the outcome, it didn't stop me at all.

  Excellent book.

  It was given to me as a gift and I opened it out of curiosity, as I'm not used to reading psychological thrillers. Eventually, I managed to get hooked and constantly wanted to know what happens next. As already mentioned in the other reviews, amazing writing and plot and an even better ending.

  After reading this book, I definitely want to read more from the same author, as well as explore this genre of literature in general. I would definitely recommend it.
