This work is a concise article interpretation of the new Penal Code (Law 4619/2019) and is updated up to N 4637/2019 (Government Gazette A' 180/18.11.2019).

Under each provision, explanatory comments, explanatory thoughts, and comparative observations are provided between the provisions of the current and the previous law, while any issues of perennial law or the application of the more lenient law that may arise are also highlighted. However, in addition to these, most provisions briefly refer to certain crucial interpretive issues, many of which had already arisen under the previous law and are expected to continue to occupy the attention of the legal practitioner in the future. At the same time, extensive reference is made to the most important case law and bibliography concerning each provision. Subsequently, the text of the new Penal Code is presented, as well as a table of correspondence between new and old provisions of the Penal Code.

The work is supplemented with a useful alphabetical index, which helps the reader in searching for the issue of interest.
