Classic kettle. It does its job perfectly. Good construction, very stylish with the bubbling effect when boiling and the blue LED light. I deduct one star for the three small negatives I found. 1. When pouring the boiling water, if you hold the handle high, the hot steam reaches your hand and burns you. If you hold the handle low, you're fine. 2. It easily catches salt, although since I'm on an island, the water is not the best, so I remain cautious. Once it catches salt, it looks unpleasant as the construction is transparent. 3. It is made of glass, so if we are clumsy at some point, it can break easily.
Edit: It broke after 1 month. It doesn't boil the water, just heats it up and turns off. It doesn't work for me as I need it to boil water for a newborn. I don't want warm water, I want boiling water. Disappointing.
Edit 2: It boils just fine, it just has a strange function. If you press the button, it makes the water hot, but if you press it harder and it clicks, it boils the water. With 5 people in the house, we thought it was broken. It works fine, so I give it 4 stars again.
