2. The elderly person will need help with initial settings (e.g. time, date, contacts, ringtone, etc.) and a small usage lesson as the menu is not as simple as it seems.
Overall, a good purchase if you know what you want and this is a simple mobile phone for elderly people who want to easily receive and make calls, have a long-lasting battery, easily hear incoming calls, easily read the name or number of the caller, and converse without problems...
Fake construction. The display only works in default settings. Therefore, during navigation, you have to guess the title of each option, as the screen displays only what fits. For the same reason, you cannot understand the order of messages. Obviously, this only makes it difficult for the elderly instead of facilitating them. As for the quality of photos and videos, I don't need to mention that they are terrible, but that's not what this phone and its price are meant for. Needless to say, I wouldn't buy it again.
The phone is the worst! Already after 2 months of operation it broke down and does not work. Better give a little more money and choose a similar slightly more expensive one!

Simple, convenient, and its battery lasts for several days. I didn't know and bought it for 45 euros. In the comments, I didn't read that someone has it for a long time and it lasts, on the contrary, that it breaks. Anyway, two months later, everything is fine. On the downside, it has low communication volume, maybe it can be increased with a button.
I bought it for my elderly mother. I saw that she liked it, heard calls well and found it easy to use. That's enough for me, so I bought it.

In August 22nd, I bought something for less than 30€, only for calls. After 4 months, it started to shut down on its own and on the 5th month, I threw it away and bought something better.
Mobile phone for three months only. I bought it because of the large buttons for the elderly, but after three months it turned off and never turned back on. I tried plugging it in to see if it was a battery issue, but nothing happened. Another downside is its charger, which is completely different from what you've seen so far. I have over 10 different chargers from older phones and none of them fit. Zero value for money.
P.S. It never fell down, minimal use.
I bought two for my elderly parents. Both phones had a faulty earpiece after 5 months, and the speaker could only be heard with the phone on speaker mode. I wouldn't buy them again for a 5-month lifespan

I bought it for my mother because of the large buttons it has so she can use it more comfortably since she doesn't see very well... The only type of use my mother has submitted the phone to for over a year now (it's August 2022) is making and receiving calls... No messages, nothing else... It can't get any more basic... The phone worked normally for the first few months... However, for some time now, it has been having problems that are not justified for the period of time that has passed since its purchase, in combination with the very simplistic use it receives... Without anything being changed in the ringtone volume settings, the sound has dropped to such a low level that if you're not right next to the phone, there's no chance of hearing the call (I went into the settings and the sound is at maximum volume)... Nevertheless, for some inexplicable reason, the sound has become crackly... The battery was never its strong point from the beginning... Even with such simplistic use, it would barely last two to three days at best... However, for some time now, the following has also been happening, which is also not justified... The battery dies in less than a day... While the phone often turns off on its own even though it has battery... Something that has become very annoying and frustrating... In conclusion, I will say that this particular phone is not worth even the 27€ I paid for it... Unthinkable for a device intended for absolutely basic use by elderly people to have so many issues in just one year of ownership... I do not recommend it under any circumstances... It's better to spend 20-30€ more and get a more reliable brand like Nokia or Panasonic...
31/08/22: Today I bought another phone with buttons for my mother... and when I opened the powertech sentry to remove the sim card to put it in the new one, to my great surprise, I saw that the battery had swollen... After this, I really don't recommend its purchase to anyone... There could have been an explosion or anything... Poor quality materials...
I got it for my grandmother about 3 months ago. The earpiece broke and she can't hear us, also it turns off by itself!
The worst choice I could have made!
I got it for my father, who needed a simple mobile phone, just to receive calls or make them himself. He is very satisfied and if something happens to the device, I will definitely buy him the same model again. It is very economical and worthy of the reason we needed it for...!!
A very good phone for the elderly. It has up to 8 speed dial buttons, a loudspeaker, large letters, and a backlit screen. Perfect for older people. It locks with a button on the side very easily and also has a flashlight.
Excellent value for money. The menu is easy to navigate and the font is easily readable in Greek. It is perfect for seniors. Additionally, the phone unlock button on the side is very helpful for people with larger hands.

I got it for my father in September. It has a strong ringtone, but the SOS button can be accidentally pressed when the phone is in your pocket. The battery lasts long and it has a strong flashlight. Unfortunately, coffee spilled on the phone and the screen immediately stopped working. It turned white and was unresponsive. When you put it on speakerphone, for some reason, the person on the other line can't hear you.
From the first days, my mother was not satisfied as the battery runs out quickly. We never found an option for quick call as my mother wanted. It shuts down suddenly. The button for closing does not always work.

I bought it for my father from an electronics store for over 40 euros. Within a couple of months, the software crashed twice and I had to send it to Thessaloniki to get it fixed. On the third time, the microphone didn't work and they told me they wouldn't send it back because I had already paid more money to the courier and the Thessaloniki service than the phone was worth. I have another phone for testing purposes and I keep the old one as a flashlight and radio battery. I took it to a repair shop and they put in another microphone, but it didn't work and I spent 10 euros. I bought another waterproof and durable phone, but it couldn't display contacts because the menu had small characters. They threw it in my face and kept the Powertech phone, which is nice and user-friendly for the elderly, but sensitive and prone to breaking. I would like to have a durable, waterproof phone with large characters and a simple menu like the Nokia 3310. I have bought four old, used Nokia 3310s. One suddenly turns off, another is broken, and only one works, which we keep as a backup

Unacceptable mobile phone! 1) It doesn't have a headphone jack and forces you to listen in speaker mode! 2) It doesn't have an alarm application! The sound in speaker mode is low!

The phone is value for money, aimed at specific users, namely the elderly and older people who are not familiar with mobile phones. Overall, the phone is worth it for what it is intended for, making and receiving calls, okay it has a camera but you don't expect anything crazy.
On the plus side, it is dual SIM, has a powerful speaker, has a radio without headphones, a clear screen, Greek number display while typing to form the number you want to call, you can also put photos in 8 contacts to clearly show who is calling, slide buttons on the left to lock-unlock the keyboard and on the right for the flashlight, and most importantly the charging base, it also takes an SD card for storage expansion, and has an SOS button.
On the negative side, I won't mention the build quality because it is expected, I will mention the lack of headphone jack.
Overall, for what it is intended for, it is what it should be, nothing less, nothing more.
