I really have no words for this little speaker. I thought it was cheap and would be useless. However, I wanted a pink speaker to gradually change the color of my setup. It surprised me with its very clear and powerful sound. And it's much better than the classic speakers that you place beside the screen. This one is in front of you, the sound comes straight to you, and thus it has much better performance.
I needed a soundbar because my screen doesn't have speakers,
to place it vertically with plastic ties on the back height adjustment of the screen.
- It's not very long so I easily hid it behind the screen,
so I don't see its white color, I couldn't find it in black.
The sound is good, and there is no distortion up to 85% volume, after that it has a little, I permanently set the volume at 50%-60% and only change the volume through the computer.
It is powered by a USB 5V power supply (so you need USB 3.0+ to draw 5V*2A = 10Watt, on a very old charger or PC it will only draw 5Watt)
- but even though it is cheap, it has good filtering for noisy USB power supply, (Many cheap USB speakers of 5-10 euros don't have it and scratch on noisy lines !!)
Yes, I tested it on a noisy USB line, then I plugged it into a good USB charger that has good filtering.
For its price, the sound quality is good. I give it an excellent rating due to its very good price/performance ratio (and it doesn't take up much space)
