Expanding the actual focal length of the Tamron SP 150-600mm f5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 lens, this Canon EF-mount 2.0x teleconverter makes this zoom lens a 300-1200mm f/10-14 lens. The exclusive design maintains communication between the lens and Canon EF-mount cameras, including automatic exposure metering and image stabilization for vibration compensation. A low dispersion element and a BBAR coating have also been incorporated to maintain image quality. 

In addition, this teleconverter also features a dust and moisture resistant construction, matching the lens, to benefit working in harsh environmental conditions.
