  It is very fast and reaches the temperature of the milk you desire, but it makes noise. As soon as the water temperature drops and the thermostat starts working, it sounds like boiling water. The previous heater I bought was completely silent, you couldn't tell there was an electrical device in the room. With this specific one, you can tell.
