  This review is about the frame host: 3/8"

  The brand is one of the "exotic" ones in tools, so their standards are high. I bought the 3/8" to replace another cheap one that served me well for many years. Wera is longer, so it provides a larger lever and more applied torque on the screw. It is also lighter, which means less weight to carry in the tool backpack. It is thinner in thickness and width of the head, making it easier to fit into tight spaces. Due to its mechanism, it only requires a 5-degree movement, which is extremely important when the screw you need to tighten is in a hard-to-reach spot. Yes, it is an expensive tool and time will tell if it was worth the money, but the company has proven its credentials, so yes, I would recommend it for purchase.

  Update 25/11/23:
  This particular ratchet was a completely successful choice! Everything I described in my initial review, I have confirmed and more while using it daily, unbelievable ease! The additional length truly makes a HUGE difference in tightening without becoming a burden for the user's hand. I have also purchased the larger one with the 1/2" drive and I can compare them directly. Just like the old saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words," these tools are treated roughly and still perform flawlessly. The job MUST get done! Hammering, kicking, banging, using the tool itself as a hammer when the actual hammer is far away and I'm hanging somewhere, they haven't noticed a thing. It does what it promises and does it effortlessly.
