Value for Money
First of all, I have to say that I am the owner of the Riwbox WB5, which seems to be the same as the Hoco W23, so I wanted to go for something better and that's why I got the Hoco W30. Initially, this model is closed-back, so it provides good sound isolation compared to other models that are semi-open, and you can hear the external sounds as well.
Overall, they have a very nice sound and are an incredible value for money. But there are 2 negatives compared to the Riwbox WB5:
1. They do not play FLAC files from the TF card. With the Riwbox WB5, you can play FLAC directly, while the Hoco W30 only play mp3 and wav. So, for my library, which is in FLAC, I have to convert them to Wav before copying them to the TF card.
2. They are sold as Over Ear headphones. To tell the truth, they are a bit small for Over Ear, but big for On Ear. They are in a middle state. They rest on the ear, they just don't press on it as much as On Ear headphones. Surprisingly, the Riwbox WB5 is slightly bigger, so you don't get tired no matter how long you wear them.
I bought them for the TV at night. Always in relation to their price, they are OK. The sound is clear but mediocre. The bass is moderate to light. They connect quickly with Bluetooth and do not disconnect easily. The battery is satisfactory, it lasts 8 hours and charges in 2. For anyone interested, these have a frequency response range of 20-20K Hz.
Sound something more than satisfactory, price a gift. It is very good value for money, but the battery life is not satisfactory and when running, it sounds like the mechanism in the left earphone (which incorporates an mp3 player, charging, and control buttons) shakes inside the headphones and I'm afraid that over time it will completely deteriorate
I chose it because it can be used both wirelessly and wired. I am satisfied with its performance in both aspects. I am not used to wearing headphones, so they bother me a little, especially now in the summer, but it's normal. It somewhat isolates external sounds, but again, I didn't expect anything outstanding in this area. Overall, I am satisfied. They are worth the money.
