Description

Inverter Technology

Thanks to Inverter technology, it maintains a constant temperature and lower consumption compared to simple instant water heaters as it uses only the necessary power to heat the water to the desired temperature.

Compatible with solar or boiler systems (water input up to 70 degrees Celsius) and can be installed in series with them, using the existing lukewarm water to achieve even greater savings.

Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main option for heating the water in your home, or as a supplementary. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your daily needs, as long as there are suitable pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to the distance.

Control panel

  • Adjustment in steps of 1C (0.5C from 38C-42C).
  • The temperature is adjustable between 20C and 55C using the touch keys and is displayed on the LCD screen, where the operating and programming options are also shown.
  • 4 keys for temperature adjustment & Menu use.
  • 2 Temperature memories that can be set for each use: e.g., 1 at 35C (hand washing) and 2 at 42C (shower) or at another temperature according to the user's preferences.
  • Various maximum power options (MPS system) and IES resistances.
  • Max inlet temperature 70C.
  • Max operating pressure 10 bar

Features:

  • Safety thermostat – protection against overheating.
  • Inlet temperature sensor: monitors and displays the inlet water temperature on the screen if selected.
  • Outlet temperature sensor: does the same for the outlet.
  • Flow meter in liters per minute with available display on the screen.
  • Power meter (in kW) – you can see on the screen how many kW the cex is operating at from the menu.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It heats only the water that passes through it at that moment. There is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, as there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts in the resistance and other components.

It operates with electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is the pressure of the cold water inlet must not be too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are pre-set so that one can use the hot water directly, without needing to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature it can reach for hot water production is 55 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 8.8 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and does not take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water being used at that moment is heated. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the hot water that is not used goes to waste.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in a traditional water heater. Thus, we also save water, in addition to electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water flows in a few seconds. The traditional water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.
