Recently I experienced pain in the sole of my foot due to mild flat feet combined with orthostasis.
Many sites mentioned shoes with arch support and specifically this model. After wearing them, I saw an immediate improvement in the pain but it didn't go away completely.
The shoe is famous for such issues and has a good reputation for its durability over time.
The sole and the insole are thick and absorb high pressures. Much more than other famous shoes like Kayano.
*It deserves an update.
The pain went away after a while. It is very comfortable. The insole and sole are great.
The only downside is that the back of the shoe that touches the heel has a weak construction and seems to be the first part that will break.*Another update.
Because they get dirty at work, I started putting them in the washing machine (allowed by Skechers). After 7-8 times, they show no signs of wear.*Before trying Skechers, I wore ASICS for my daily life because I found them to be the most resistant to wear. These specific Skechers surpass in durability both in the sole and in the upper part (mesh) by far compared to Kayano, which are also much more expensive. (always for daily use, not for running). The only thing that broke is the upper part at the heel because I put them on and take them off without untying the laces.
*28-1-24 the shoes still hold up despite the use and washes, except for the upper part of the heel.
*27-6-24 eventually after 2.5 years of wear and many washes in the washing machine, the shoes started to deteriorate superficially, as well as the insole. The sole has not "settled" and continues to absorb weight. However, it has become a bit smooth, resulting in slipping on wet smooth surfaces such as marble.
An athletic shoe brand of 60-70 euros lasted 2.5 years, something that no other shoe (in the category) regardless of money has achieved.

I wear size 28.5cm and I chose size 44. As a first impression, they feel comfortable and convenient. I will come back in a little while as I will be wearing them daily at work, standing for 8 hours and walking.
Update: 20/9/2022. The first few days that I wore them, they bothered me a little until they adjusted to my foot, but afterwards, I had no issues. They are of good quality for eight hours of standing and walking. The insole is quite soft and relieves you from shocks. I can't say they are perfect, but they will help you a lot so that your feet won't suffer.
Update: 26/4/2023. As a shoe, it is very good. The only major drawback is the lack of support in the back of the heel and Achilles tendon. In my shoes, the minimal support it has has broken into very small pieces.Translated from Greek ·- Construction quality

Honest shoe worth its money. It is like an orthopedic shoe, certified by podiatrists, but it does not have the ugliness that usually accompanies orthopedic shoes. It can be comfortably worn outside, not just for walking. This brand was recommended to me by many acquaintances who work standing up for many hours, and in the end, they were right. I usually wear size 45 in athletic shoes and this shoe was exactly size 45 for me.
Update: 1+ year later and they still feel like new shoes to me... they have not worn out at all except for a little in the heel, which has a somewhat weak construction. But it doesn't bother me at all there. Overall, a very honest shoe, I will definitely buy it again in the future! Clearly the most comfortable everyday shoe I have ever bought

I bought them for my son who works seasonally. He loves them. He wears them both at work and at the gym. According to him, they are very comfortable and soft to walk in.
