I bought it to withstand walking and especially in specific places I go due to work (insect exterminations) on islands, sometimes on good roads and sometimes in bushy areas. Its sole is quite hard, to the point where I added an extra insole because my feet were hurting and it hits my toes on the right side of the shoe due to its low profile. Otherwise, it is a durable shoe.
