Bought it for 350 during the summer of '23. I play titles on 2K and I can say that it performs decently. There is sometimes coil whine, but it is minimal for now. Also, AMD drivers continue to provide some uncertainty with each new update, but with a simple read on forums before installation, we can avoid such difficulties.
I have had this card for 1.5 months at a cost of 336 euros, replacing a GTX 1060 3GB. In terms of cost/performance, it was the best option available around 300 euros, but now the price has gone up. At first, I was hesitant about the rumors I heard about AMD cards, as well as their low sales.
It has much better performance at native resolution compared to the equivalent 4060 cards, even though it is a previous generation card. As for Ray Tracing, it may lag behind, but no card in this price range is capable of playing new titles at over 60fps. If you want to play with RT, you will need to spend over 800 euros, which is prohibitive for the average user. For now, at least at 1080p, which is the ideal resolution for me if I want decent fps, I can achieve 100+ fps on most titles with native resolution and ultra settings.
I read many negative comments about frequent crashes in Windows due to AMD drivers. I use my computer for many hours every day, and at default settings, I didn't have any issues. The only crashes I had were in specific games (like Metro Exodus) when I undervolted through the driver (Adrenalin software), and that was until I found the ideal settings for this particular card. I imagine that most users who still experience such crashes either didn't uninstall the previous drivers correctly or there is some incompatibility with the motherboard (I had this issue in the past, which caused various artifacts on the screen).
One of the downsides is the higher power consumption, reaching around 180w - 200w compared to other cards in this price range. However, this can be somewhat corrected with undervolting, and the loss in fps is negligible when considering that, for example, I went from 230fps to 200fps in the Furmark benchmark at default settings with significantly lower power consumption.
Another issue I had was related to power consumption when the card was idle. It consumed around 20-30w in idle mode. Eventually, I found out that this was due to monitors with a refresh rate of 144hz+. When I reduced the refresh rate to 120hz in Windows, the power consumption in idle mode returned to a normal 5w.
As a user of this card for a month, I believe it is quite good, but since the price has increased to 370, there may be some more value-for-money options. However, I have found two negatives that may not bother you so much, but need to be mentioned. Firstly, from the first few days, I noticed quite a bit of coil whine, which personally doesn't bother me at all because I use headphones, so even though I have the case right next to me, I don't notice it at all. Secondly, there have been two instances where the graphics would freeze, but I simply reset the card and everything was resolved.
Update: 29/1/2024, I found another negative for this card, which is the overall AMD drivers. For a month now, I have been experiencing random freezes in games that are not even heavy, but with the new version 24.1.1, I haven't encountered any issues for almost 3 days
Update:1/5/2024 , to whoever buy this card be careful cause its drivers are definitely not good, I was forced to use ddu after 2 months of lags, and a lot of freezes(amd has its driver cleanup program buts its not as effective as ddu) also it doesn't matter if you are installing them on a new pc, reinstalled windows or format, you will most likely need to use ddu. (Understood that after 3 windows reinstallings and maybe 2 drive disk formats)
I don't have much to say, I upgraded from an RX 550 4GB so there is no comparison. It doesn't make any noise (it is connected to the power supply with 2 different cables, not with one that has 2 outputs), it runs Baldur's Gate 3 on Ultra 1080 resolution (waiting for a monitor upgrade to see it in 2K).
Very satisfied, bought it for €330 which is an excellent price for the time, and it doesn't have any competition based on the Budget. Unfortunately, from what I see, the prices have gone up to €380, there may be better cards to consider at that price.
There is no reason to put benchmarks, it performs as expected in terms of performance and power consumption.
Other than that, I have no complaints about the implementation (e.g. temperatures, noise, or coil whine), which is relatively light and simple without lights (compared to the RX480 Nitro I had).
Compared to the prices of other cards, at €350 that I bought it in early October, it was the most value-for-money card within a reasonable budget.
Incredible value for money, at 2K it really lives up to what others say, it's jaw-dropping. We're talking about incredible performance considering you don't pay too much. I chose Sapphire as one of the best implementations due to previous experience with an RX570 Nitro.
However, the coil whine exists and it's incredibly annoying since I have my PC next to me and I don't wear headphones. I tried capping FPS, I tried undervolting, and everything else I could think of and read about. The power supply is a 1-year-old Corsair, so I don't think it's the issue. Also, the drivers let me down twice.
It's a great shame and unfair because I had high hopes for this card. It was packaged with the right to return, so I'll see if I can send it back. And I DID NOT want to give it back... it's a shame, the red ones after many years of love caught my eye.
I was torn between this one and the 4060 that cost the same. Always for 1080 gaming!!
After several videos and research, I easily ended up with the 4060. It may have 8 vram instead of 12. The reason? It's called power consumption!!
Guys, look it up, the difference in power consumption is huge. 60-80w difference for the same game with the same settings. One at 100w and the other at 170w!! So think about how many hours a day you play for, for a month, for four months. Other than that..... Yes, it's value for money and the most powerful option for 1080p gaming at the moment. But......

For this specific card, I have one thing to say, it is definitely worth the money for 1440p gaming. I connected it with a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU as it has 0% bottleneck with it. In terms of performance, it exceeds expectations with FPS reaching over 300 in many older titles on ultra settings, while in newer games like Call of Duty, Star Wars Jedi Last Survivor, and Battlefield 2042, it maintains around 80-150 FPS on the same settings. It doesn't exceed 73°C in demanding gaming sessions in terms of temperature, and there is no noticeable noise. I highly recommend this card to those considering a PC with a budget of 800-1000€.
The best option for gaming at the moment, without having to spend a fortune to get it, depending on everyone's needs and budget.
The card is a beast designed for 2K resolution, which means it can easily handle everything at ultra 1080p with high fps, but it also performs very well at 1440p depending on the title and settings.
It is very powerful without consuming a lot of wattage and especially future-proof with its 12GB of VRAM.
There is no equivalent proposal for the same price or even slightly higher than Nvidia, don't even bother looking elsewhere, this is the way to go.
As for the implementation, the card has the necessary solid construction, silent fans, a beautiful and minimal design, and performance similar to all the 6700XT cards. I don't see a reason to spend an extra 50, 100, or 150 euros for a more expensive implementation unless someone is obsessed with RGB and triple fans, as with that extra money, you can go for an even more powerful card.
The only negative thing I find is the coil whine during gaming, which is noticeable if you have a silent system and closed speakers, but okay, we'll live with it. It is what it is.
*** I would only recommend changing the fan curve to a new profile in MSI Afterburner because the card tends to run a bit hot. With the stock settings, the fans take a while to start, causing unnecessary temperature increase. So, every time someone wants to play, they just open Afterburner before starting the game, and the fans automatically run according to the desired profile, keeping the card relatively cool. And when they close the game, they also close Afterburner, restoring the fan curve to stock settings (0 RPM until a certain temperature), which is more than enough for non-gaming use and eliminates the need to mess with undervolting and such. However, the stock temperatures are acceptable, we're just talking about going the extra mile, which will only benefit the card.

Very good choice, it doesn't lag anywhere and comfortably supports 3 screens for gaming. I don't experience any noise issues, maybe temperature issues due to heat and my own case. Overall, it's worth its money.
Superb for its price. Where you would get a green RTX 3060, for the same if not less money, this card exists. It has impressed me because I can play games on high settings at 2k resolution and achieve decent FPS (around 90-100 in Fortnite with TSR balance and high lumen). Of course, I have to mention that after some time, I start to hear the coil whine that other owners of this card have mentioned. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all, but if you want absolute silence and have already invested in silent fans, the Sapphire model wouldn't be my first choice
In 2k one of the cheapest and best solutions. In many games it can handle 4k if of course you accept fsr and you are satisfied with >80hz. The only negatives I have faced are the coil whine that hits in some specific cases and of course the well-known AMD drivers. Maybe due to the distance from my pc, I don't hear the coil whine so much but it is definitely intense in madvr with NGU upscaler and in 1-2 old games when I have them in 4k/144hz or the fps reach the sky. As for the drivers, 20 years Nvidia, I don't remember having so many problems with the drivers. Now I feel that once every two months there will be some new regression/bug.
Update: After two years, I can say that I will never buy an AMD GPU again. I got tired of dealing with a new problem every day. I'd better have spent even a thousand more for any Nvidia.
Very good card, unfortunately it has slightly higher temperatures compared to others (tmp vs fan speed), but with a good case and open fans at 35-40%, it remains cool even during heavy gaming (Microsoft Flight Sim).
Very good card, quiet even though it needs two cables to work, so be careful. A bit overpriced for me, I got it for 495 euros (if we were in a different time and in a different ideal world, not a virtual one). Bought out of necessity. My first Radeon, even though I'm a fan of perfect image quality. Didn't check the fps, but it played 8k videos effortlessly and upscaled the resolution from 2160p to 1080p on my PC screen.
Update: 3/2/2024 The card can handle up to 4k in many games at 60fps, but at the cost of high temperatures in both the CPU and GPU. Its drawback is the freezes and screen freezing in desktop and browser, not in-game, only glitch-like graphics issues at high temperatures. The 12GB memory gives the card longevity for a few years.
The best budget graphics card implementation for years, once again Sapphire has provided a budget solution without leaving anything behind. In terms of temperatures, it is excellent, allowing you to play Apex Legends and get good results in terms of sound without being audible. It gives you a maximum of 96 degrees in the hotspot and 75 max (in a hotspot that gives more than the normal temperature) if it doesn't have a problem being audible (Corsair 4000D case with 3 QL120 intakes and 3 exhausts, 2 of which are in liquid cooling). For the money, it is perfect, with a metallic backplate (which I have no idea about in other implementations such as MSI and Gigabyte), and has enough space for overclocking even if it is not the OC version. Overall, it is worth it if someone does not have a graphics card and wants to build a PC for 2K. Of course, if you want visuals and ray tracing, it is better to go for Nvidia, although it supports it, it is not the same. In summary, it is an awesome card for gaming and editing, and one of the best budget options, and maybe the best. It does not have any lights, the design is the style of the card.
I was hesitant about purchasing this particular implementation, as although Sapphire has consistently been the lowest-priced option for the 6700 XT, I couldn't find any reliable reviews for it, only for the more expensive Nitro. After 1-2 weeks of use, I have the following observations:
- The card (visually at least, as I haven't disassembled it) appears to be of good quality, at the usual high Sapphire levels, and has a metal backplate.
- It doesn't have dual bios, although in some photos the corresponding text is printed in the slot where the switch should be on the backplate.
- It doesn't have any lighting, the red "Sapphire" and "Radeon" details are permanent (plastic) in case they bother anyone.
- I noticed that the card's stock fan curve is very passive, with the fan starting to spin at 50-60 degrees and above, and the card exceeding 80 degrees under full load (bequiet 500dx case with good airflow). By modifying the fan curve through Afterburner to increase speed earlier (the fan up to 40% is practically silent and rarely needs to go faster), the card doesn't exceed 70-72 degrees with summer ambient temperatures, which is very satisfactory. I'm talking about package temperature and not junction (the second, higher temperature shown in Afterburner), which can reach 90-95 degrees - something normal.
- Unfortunately, the card has quite noticeable coil whine when fps exceed 80-100 (a "whistling" sound coming from the coils on the board). I don't know if it's an isolated "problem" with the card I received, if it will "settle" over time, or if other implementations also have it. Perhaps for someone who has the case on the floor and not on the desk like me, it may not be as noticeable.
Regarding performance, it is at the known levels of all 6700 XTs, meaning it easily handles 1440p resolution in all games, and in older titles (or less demanding ones) it can run 4k 60 fps with some compromises in visuals. I deduct one star for the coil whine and for the price, which is still about 20% above MSRP, but I don't believe there is a better implementation in this price range. Alternatively, I might consider the Asus with the 2 fans, the Powercolor Fighter, and I think the MSI Mech is inferior.
The card is really good, of course, at the price of 690 that I got it, I wouldn't recommend it, but it does the job and I hope the Sapphire brand lives up to its good reputation. So far, it hasn't struggled anywhere and it's perfect for 2K gaming.
