The Amazfit T-Rex Pro features a 1.3” HD AMOLED always-on color display with high-precision GPS, a robust design, excellent water resistance (10 ATM), 100+ Sports Modes, and an exceptionally long battery life.
It is primarily aimed at those seeking a durable and high-quality smartwatch with multiple functions for sports and outdoor activities. It is specifically designed for use in extreme conditions, such as hiking, cycling, climbing, swimming, etc.
Durability that captivates
The Amazfit T-Rex Pro is a powerful combination of practicality, strength, and comfort. The outer bezel has undergone a metal spraying process, which enhances the rich textures of the lightweight 60g watch body. The clarity of the 1.3” HD AMOLED always-on color display ensures that you don't need to stop your activity to check important information. It comes with a skin-friendly silicone strap with a sweat-resistant design, ensuring it stays dry and comfortable.
Designed for adventure
The appearance of the Amazfit T-Rex Pro is robust and compact with distinct angles. Having passed 15 military-grade tests, the watch will accompany you in scorching deserts (70 °C heat resistance), humid tropical forests (240 hours humidity resistance), and polar glaciers (-40 °C cold resistance) - durability that withstands the elements of nature with ease (prolonged exposure is not recommended, as it may cause damage to the watch and its components).
Suitable for swimming
With 10 ATM waterproof protection, you can swim or explore the depths.
Blood Oxygen Measurement
In high-altitude areas, every meter you climb is a challenge. The Amazfit T-Rex Pro notifies you of significant altitude changes and your blood oxygen saturation.
Explore the Unknown
Thanks to the four different navigation satellites (GPS, Glonass, BeiDou & Galileo) it supports, you can have your position on the map in real-time and with great accuracy.
MIL-STD-810 Certification
Designed for the most adverse and extreme conditions, as it has passed 15 military-grade tests.
Climbing with safety
High altitude comes with greater challenges. The Amazfit T-Rex Pro will notify you whenever it detects significant altitude changes and will prompt you to perform the blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) test. This test can also be done whenever you feel uncomfortable, in order to better protect your body!

Two stars because I read that it has GPS and assumed it has maps, but it turns out it doesn't. It just records distances with the GPS, so it's useless.
I had exactly the same experience. After 2 years and 3-4 months, it didn't charge well, it did crazy things, even though it showed 100% charged, as soon as you unplugged it, it would go black, meaning a black screen. I didn't try to repair it because wherever I took it, they told me that, for example, they could change the battery and it might not work, or they could change the screen and it still might not work, so I didn't risk it. However, because I was quite satisfied and because it is relatively cheap, I bought the exact same one again, even in the same color. The second one I have now has a battery with much longer duration than the previous one! The previous one, maybe had some issue, I used to charge it every 5 days at first, then after 1 year, every 3 days, and in the end, every 1.5 to 2 days before it completely died. I can't tell you about the new one. You forget when you charged it. At least 15 days, at the least. Maybe even 20! Of course, this time I am using it less (I have cut down on exercising a lot), and I have left the initial setting to make the screen turn on very difficultly, not with the slightest touch, like I had set it on the first one.
The watch is not worth it. Suddenly it shut down and never opened again, it keeps restarting constantly until the battery runs out. I searched for it in Greek and foreign forums and after a software update some watches experience this. It is not covered by the warranty, in other words, a waste.. It has many exercise options such as running, etc. But it DOES NOT have a sleep function.. you have to enter the app to see how much you slept... Finally, the app to sync with the watch is very slow and sometimes you have to turn off and on the watch.
A little bulky on the wrist, it's hit or miss whether you like big watches or not. It has an issue with random restarts at random times, not something consistently repetitive. Connection to the phone is immediate, GPS route while running without the phone nearby. The battery lasts 4-5 days without the always on display, 3-4 with always on display. The measurements seem accurate, but who can confirm that they are indeed accurate. I have bumped it in various places and it hasn't scratched or damaged. The only thing that will need replacement is the strap, which has started showing signs of wear.
Well.... While it is durable and a good watch, it has a disadvantage in its strap. At the point where it ties on the case, it is easy to break. And not only that, in the color I got, there is no replacement available...
It is a smart watch with the necessary and most useful functions for its category.
In terms of volume, it is light on the wrist, the screen has very good clarity, and its strap is of high quality with the necessary security in the buckle, so it does not loosen.
Settings are easily done through the ZEPP application.
The measurements cannot be evaluated yet because I have only had it for 3 days and it is too early for that.
At €112 that I bought it, I consider it a fair purchase.
For any other observation, I will come back...
I got it two years ago for 100€. The most value for money Smartwatch out there. It does everything it promises. Except for the fact that sometimes it reboots quickly on its own for 5 seconds and that not all indicators (heart rate, blood oxygen, etc.) are quite accurate, it is the smartwatch you want for everyday use and if you are a bit clumsy. It has taken so many hits, it has swallowed so much water and it still looks like new. It lasts in standby for over 2 weeks and with daily use (location, timers, measurements, etc.) close to 10 days. What else do you need?
Blue color at 120 euros just before Christmas, with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, one of the best smartphones in my opinion. I have to say that I wasn't impressed except for its battery life and its water resistance (washing hands, shower). Okay, I set it up for notifications from Viber, Messenger, Mail, Facebook, Google, phone calls, and SMS. I don't care about how much I run or what my heart rate is, all of that is just advertising. I set an alarm to see if I could turn it off from my phone, and I sent a GIF image to myself from my wife. I bought the Samsung Frontier 3, my first smartwatch, on the 21st, and I got a black faceplate to protect it at work for 10 euros so that nothing goes wrong. The program on the watch is terrible, with almost no settings from the phone to the watch. For example, I set the font size to be large, but no matter what I do, it stays small or medium, never large. The lock screen requires holding a button for seconds to unlock, and I can't figure out how to do it. For watch faces, you can go to Amazfaces and download whatever you like. The store that has the stupidity for the program doesn't give it to you for free, only for payment, literally pathetic. It's sensitive to my wrist, sometimes it lights up when I turn it, and other times it sleeps when I make other movements. As a waterproof watch, I have put an image on it for 8 days, not 18 as it claims, and I haven't done anything else with it except for Bluetooth when I go to work because I have an issue with my phone's battery and it needs to be replaced. I want to be notified about what I want. The battery, which is the only good thing compared to the Frontier 3, lasts for about 1.5 hours every 8 days, and the Frontier 3 needs to be charged for about 2.5 hours every day. I had a small difference in choosing between the T-Rex 2 or the Samsung 4, but I decided to try this one. If anything changes, I will note it here.
I have it for a year, it replaced another famous brand that cost 4 times more but before a year passed, it stopped working due to a software problem! This one, so far, is flawless, I wear it in the sea, in the pool, at the gym, it has no issues. Additionally, there are replacement straps in various qualities and colors, and it can easily transform into a different watch with easy replacement
The watch would easily deserve five stars if its battery lasted as long as the manufacturing company claims. This is rarely the case with most devices. So, calculate about half the advertised duration until the next charge. With regular use and 20 minutes of GPS functionality per day, it cannot last more than four days without charging. Other than that, it is an exceptional smartwatch with a multitude of features, accurate measurements, surprisingly lightweight despite its size, particularly sturdy and durable. The watch does not have a microphone, but for many, this is probably an advantage. It is difficult to find any flaws in this watch. At this price, it is very hard to find something that comes close to its reliability and capabilities.
I have had the watch since December 2021. With mountain biking, downhill skiing, mountain running, and road running, the watch is incredible for its price and compared to watches triple the price from other brands. I highly recommend it.
Waste of money! Suddenly counts 30 to 60 pulses higher especially in running or fast walking outdoors. This then affects calorie calculation and estimated exercise impact accordingly.
I have had the watch in my hands for five months.
I only take it off to charge.
Sleeping, bathing, swimming, working with machines, etc. I never take it off! It is a war dog! Very durable and functions correctly.
The only thing I needed was to find a background that satisfies me, but that is subjective. Also, although the connection with the mobile was very easy, I don't use it like that, but again, it's my choice.
For this money, I would buy it with my eyes closed!
I have had it for about a month for 100 euros from kaizershop.
The watch is worth every penny, it does many things, it has many functions, the battery is perfect with frequent use at the gym, swimming, running, and it lasts for 10 days. I highly recommend it without hesitation!!!!!
Good evening!!
I would like to share my comment about the watch. My review comes after using the watch for a month in order to have a better understanding of the product.
1. Firstly, it is a very nice watch.
2. So far, I haven't encountered any issues with its use.
3. Both the watch itself and the application are easy to use.
4. The accuracy of its measurements is quite good (not perfect).
5. Personally, I have noticed some minor difficulties in the flow of the up and down function, either through the side buttons or the touch screen, meaning that sometimes it lags.
6. The mentioned battery life does not apply in my case. With full functionality, the watch has a battery life of one week. However, I want to emphasize that I never let the battery drop below 20%.
7. I would not recommend doing scuba diving or any other deep-sea activity, regardless of the company's claim that the watch is water-resistant up to 10 atm (i.e., 100 meters depth).
8. In general, do not rely 100% on what companies say because a) they are trying to promote their product as best as possible, and b) many of the numbers they claim are achieved under laboratory conditions, meaning ideal environments.
Overall comment: I believe it is worth buying for someone who is not looking for extravagant features. It is a product that can be characterized as value for money.
Excellent product for its price (I got it for €75 on sale). It has relatively high accuracy in measurements with a deviation of 2%. It is water-resistant and can withstand drops. I even used it in the sea, and when it got foggy, I simply rinsed it with clean water and everything was okay.
Positives: The watch is value for money, good build quality, the battery perfectly meets the needs of the average user, the GPS measurements are very accurate (in a marathon it showed +200m compared to Garmin and Suunto which showed around +130m with five times the price), the heart rate monitor is average in its measurements but gives a general idea, the altimeter is quite accurate when in the mountains (on Mount Olympus it only missed by 23 meters), near the sea, however, it constantly shows negative altitude...
Negatives: After 5 months of use, with an update that was installed, it completely erased the sleep tracking and it was never fixed despite sending feedback to the company through the app. Also, in the beginning, the synchronization with the app was flawless, but now after 1 year, it is terrible (obviously a problem with the app and not the watch).
I just received it and I was eagerly waiting to receive it. I put it in my hand and I fell into the water for training. But in vain, neither the watch nor the training due to disappointment. It was returned the same day and the money was credited to me by the company due to non-repair. Unfortunately, I have no opinion.
I am the owner of this product for 1 year now, flawless in operation, battery, incredible touch screen, it has endured great hardships, sea, work in dusty conditions, water, constant hits, and it remains intact. Its battery is good to very good, perhaps the best purchase (I am speaking from a personal level). It is worth every last euro you will spend.
Purchased in December of '21. Many training options, presentation of several measurement data, very good autonomy but died after 1.5 years of use. On a hot July morning it went off in my hand and never turned back on. Within warranty the funeral, the product is not repairable, credit from the dealership and we move on to something else.
I have had it for ten days. I have used it four times in the sea, during swimming training. Three times for one hour each and the other time for two hours of continuous swimming. The watch was flawless, both in swimming and running. The measurements seemed relatively accurate to me. Its construction seems very good. As for the battery, with all-day use and two hours of sports activities, the battery has dropped by 15%, and it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to charge back to 100%. Considering its price so far, I see it as very good and worth 5 stars
For its price at 120 euros, it is good...
It is waterproof, both in the bathroom and in the sea...
For the job I need it for, it's fine...
You can't speak or hear from the watch...
Get hands-free instead if you want to talk...
First of all, I have to say that it is a very lightweight smartwatch. This makes it ideal for activities. Its appearance reminds me of a Casio G-Shock. Its measurements do not differ from the GT2 Pro. I have dropped it twice when I took it off to charge it, and I accidentally hit it against a tool. It hasn't suffered any damage. I wear it in the sea and swim without fear. I think it's worth its money. Of course, the GT2 Pro has been released, so I'll have to wait a bit for its price to drop.
Very good, good measurements, for the use I want, that is to wear it all day and go to the gym or for running (I tried it in the sea, swimming), the only negative thing I found is that it doesn't easily connect to my phone (realme 8i), I have to enter the app 1,2-3 times until it connects.
As a watch, it is perfect in terms of its features. I don't know if it's a watch issue or an application issue, but it doesn't synchronize the data and in the measurements, while it shows them on the watch, in the application it shows only half, as if it stops counting. This has been happening for a very long time, regardless of the application updates. For me, this is a major drawback.
Although the watch is perfect for its price, it has a HUGE downside for me. I have a tattoo on my hand and its sensors cannot detect my heart rate because of it, which means I cannot have accuracy in any of the measurements, including oxygen, heart rate, workout, or stress. As you can see in the photos, when I wear it on my right hand, it measures well, but on the left, it says "put on the watch to measure." I have not encountered this issue with any other watch, but it really disappoints me because it is not convenient for me to switch to wearing a watch on my right hand after wearing one on my left for 5 years. I am truly sorry to give it a 3/5 rating, but for me, it is a major flaw.
It is the absolute value for money. Reliable in its measurements, lightweight and with a very nice design. One negative aspect, perhaps, that I have identified is that its battery does not have the autonomy that the manufacturer gives.
Purchased 10 days ago and so far very satisfied as from the 1st day it entered deeply into agricultural work without presenting any scratches on the body or the glass. Easy connection with the quite satisfactory Zepp application on the mobile, and its autonomy based on the initial exploration of a new gadget seems to last for days. This is also evident in the middle photo.
Several screen options for all tastes in the storefront, most of them are paid, and some are free. I recommend it, and I will come back in depth over time for more substantial impressions.
11/3/24 update: I don't know if it happened to other gtr-pro owners, but mine stopped sending notifications from the mobile 2 months ago (Calls, messenger, email, etc.
Maybe it's a problem with the device that arose from some cause or after an update the notifications froze.
