The cubes are beautiful and pleasing to the eye. We play in many ways: stacking and knocking down, putting and taking out the boxes from one to another, putting other things in the boxes, hiding something and finding it, naming the animals and the sounds they make, naming the other things that are painted on them, etc. It's all about imagination! Only that they are made of cardboard! The baby has already chewed on a couple of them. We started playing with it at 10 months, but the chewing came later, after we were still teething (around 12 months). If it hadn't been given to us as a gift, we would probably have bought a wooden set.
