YOU WON'T WANT TO LEAVE…
A five-star imposing hotel in the Swiss Alps. An old sanatorium. Buried in snow. Isolated from the rest of the world. A police officer on the verge of collapse.
UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE!
When detective Elin Warner receives an invitation from her estranged brother to celebrate his recent engagement at a winter resort, she can't help but accept. However, upon arriving at Le Sommet, amidst a threatening snowstorm, Elin immediately feels uneasy.
Despite the idyllic setting, both the place and her brother, Isaac, make her anxious. And when they wake up the next morning, his fiancée has disappeared. As the snowstorm rages, cutting off access to the hotel, and the woman remains missing, the hotel guests begin to panic…

It is a simple detective-slasher thriller that does its job well in keeping your interest. Something that is perfect for relaxation after work.
I didn't really like the book!
The writing style tired me somewhere in the middle of the book!
I expected it to be much better!
The most boring detective novel I have ever read! It felt like a bunch of unrelated pages! The plot takes too long to start, and when it does, it is so uninteresting that I couldn't wait for it to finish so I could start another book! No surprise with the murderer, and as for their motive? Irrelevant, like so many other things in the book!
The book is very exhausting with pointless descriptions just to fill the pages. I bought it after so much advertising but regretted it when I finished a chapter, thinking of giving up on it. As for the names of Agatha Christie and Stephen King on the cover, it is at least sacrilege.
I may have had high expectations, but it disappointed me. The simplistic plot, the heroine, etc. tried to play in the big leagues but failed for me.
It is perfect, it keeps you in suspense until the end, you think you know what's happening or you make assumptions, but you always end up being wrong. It is very nice, simply written and understandable, and you don't want to put it down.
