Purchased in October 23rd. A high-quality printer. One month later, I have already printed about 200 pages and the ink has not run out at all. Practically, the printing cost only concerns the paper. It was relatively easy to install and connected properly. It could print a bit faster, but considering the savings on ink, this is a minor issue. I believe it is worth its money.
The first day everything was fine. Easy installation without any problems. However, after 2 days and 10-15 prints, it gave me a sign for the multicolor printheads. I followed all the steps to fix it but nothing. All the application, website, and warranty issues were revealed. I didn't expect this from the high cost and the name of HP. I will come back when and if the problem is resolved. Shame.
Update 20/4/23
I changed the printheads and nothing. All the lights started flashing together. I went to an authorized HP service and... they sent me home to call HP for telephone troubleshooting and then give me the okay, and if necessary, replace it with a refurbished one. But this can only be done from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. So, I will have to take leave from my work to be allowed by HP to go to an authorized service (which is also open until 6 pm) and have my printer repaired or replaced with a refurbished one.
I got it for (among other things) printing from photos. On one hand, the quality of the colors is tragic, with especially the blue and green coming out all wrong. (It might partly be a driver issue, and not just because of the Truecolor that you clearly need to disable. - The machine has had a problem and sees everything as blue.) On the other hand, with photo paper, it jams CONTINUOUSLY. 5 stick, one comes out. And somehow it seems like it doesn't even take it and spills the inks inside the machine. Just a hassle.
For text printing, in general, it is OK and absolutely economical.
Stay away from HP. Brother, Oki, Epson, or write with a pen. Stay away from them.
Subscription packages for no reason, giant programs that slow down the computer, endless spam emails with offers, and EXPENSIVE CONSUMABLES
Generally, fast printing (even double-sided), affordable, and high-quality. Clearly, there are faster, higher-quality, and possibly more affordable multifunction printers, but this one is, for me, the definition of value for money. I hope it proves to be good over the years.
The initial setup was done via USB (on a desktop), but when prints were needed from a laptop and mobile phone, it was easily done. Scanning is also easy, although the HP menu after scanning (in the saving process) could be easier. Overall, in the almost one month that I have been using the multifunction printer, I am very satisfied! I will come back if needed...
I have it for a short time and I cannot make a full evaluation. It seems to be of good quality and it looks like it will fulfill its promises over time. As for the negatives, I would say that it does not have instructions in Greek and the store puts you through the process of calling the company's helpdesk {they could have included the 6-7 steps needed for installation on half an A4 page and we would all be happy}. Nevertheless, I spoke with the service and they guided me correctly. 2 observations: A. The ink cartridges had a "manufacturing problem" when opening and the consumables are 4 ink cartridges that "say" and 2 heads that last longer AND I DID NOT READ THIS ANYWHERE. {the support was perfect - replacements for the 3 out of the 4 ink cartridges that I couldn't open}.
I got it for home. Very good document and photo prints. Inks are very cheap (no comparison to the exorbitant prices of other hp301 inks, etc). The package had 3!!! black inks of 135 ml each! and 3 color inks of 70 ml each. If they run out (after months or years), their price is very low. Around 9 euros. Connecting to wifi is a big hassle... If you activate wifi before installing the application on your mobile or computer, it requires a factory reset. There is a video by HP on youtube. In the end, everything is fine.
I have had it here for about a month. Very good prints even in photos and its inks are very cheap. Definitely, one can print whole books without worrying about the cost.
A fairly impressive product that you can print without thinking since its inks cost about 8Euros and according to hp, they last for a year. The package includes 3 bottles of black ink!! It is worth noting that at some point the printheads will need to be replaced, which cost about 12 each (the color one is a bit difficult to find due to low availability). At first glance, I am quite satisfied, time will tell about the durability of the machine, although hp machines carry a strong name and reliability on their backs.
