If you are between the next generation or this one, get the 3060.
Everything on ultra, 1440p and running at 60-144hz resolution, I never have any framedrops and it's a very good value for money graphics card. You don't need to spend anything extra to go to the next level.
As for editing, work with Photoshop, video editing, etc. it's a beast, I render while playing Diablo smoothly.
And in terms of temperatures, it's better than the previous one.

I have 2 cards, they are quiet, the size is small, logically they fit comfortably in any case, they have very good performance, only one with the exact same settings in afterburner draws more power but it doesn't bother me much, I just mention it (about 30 watts difference). Temperatures usually do not exceed 65 degrees. One was purchased for 300 euros and the other for 320, a more reasonable price would be around 250 euros but for now they do their job perfectly
I am quite satisfied with this specific card, I mainly use it for gaming at 1080p and it performs great on all modern titles at high-ultra settings. It doesn't exceed temperatures above 70 degrees, generally staying around 55-65 degrees Celsius. It should be noted that I have the version of this card with 8GB of VRAM.

Stop asking for maximum performance from a product that is made for entry-level gaming. It is a good card, quiet, with temperatures up to 70°C which is normal, and I play with default settings using Nvidia's game experience. The implementation is Asus, which means warranty, and the price is okay for the time being. I'm not a PC freak to make comparisons. Prices will drop even more if you want to go for a 3060 Ti or 3070. I am very satisfied. Invest without fear, but if you want Forza Horizon steering wheels, Cyberpunk, and ultra settings, forget it. Always consider the bottleneck. I repeat, do not ask for more than what it offers. 1080p with compromises, otherwise you will constantly be disappointed. Peace
I use it for graphics and photos (Photoshop & Illustrator), I am not a gamer. It is much better than what I need for my own needs, it covers me more than enough.
I bought it for 379 euros and I think it's worth every euro.

As far as I'm concerned, it's quiet and the temperature is almost constant at 35 degrees.
With the current prices, if you manage to find it for 500 euros, you will say thank you.
Everything runs personally on ultra settings, even at 140fps with a resolution of 1920x1080 consistently on the 144hz monitor I got, without temperatures rising. Very happy with my choice so far, it perfectly covered my needs for a gaming PC that I wanted to build
