A range of rheumatic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory spondyloarthropathies (such as ankylosing spondylitis and psoriatic arthritis), systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, Sjogren's syndrome, and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome, may potentially affect women of reproductive age. We will attempt to address the following important questions based on existing literature information in clinical practice.

• Are these diseases related to impairment of patients' fertility?

• Are these diseases associated with pregnancy complications? If so, which ones and how?

• Are these diseases related to the occurrence of congenital abnormalities or pathological conditions in embryos and newborns?

• How does the administration of anti-rheumatic drugs affect fertility impairment, pregnancy complications, and the occurrence of congenital abnormalities or pathological conditions in embryos and newborns? Can mothers taking these drugs also breastfeed?
