The baby has been taking this milk since 15 days old and fortunately, he is much better compared to the regular milk he was drinking at first! However, I want to ask you to clarify a few things.. It was prescribed to me from a public hospital and while the participation is 0%, the pharmacies are asking me to pay almost 50% because they are not financially viable with what EOPYY gives them!!!! Some pharmacies don’t even take it on because it’s not profitable for them, and others charge for it even though it doesn’t say anything like that on the prescription! Has this happened to any of you and what should I do about it? Where should I turn to?
The worst smell possible, I can't believe something like this is being sold. The baby doesn't even want to put the bottle in its mouth, it cries.
I have a huge question about how something like this can be sold in the market after the stench that is present as soon as you open the box. The baby had bowel movements after this but literally stopped eating. It drank 30 grams in 3 hours. This thing is not consumed even by babies who supposedly have no sense of taste. It stinks and is extremely expensive.
The milk is excellent.
You should know that all hydrolyzed casein formulas do not have a pleasant taste (at least for us adults, but my little one drank it easily). Taste, of course, is the last thing that concerns a baby with colic.
Perfect mixing with gentle horizontal shaking of the bottle without bubbles.
Finally, the most important thing of all. Our little one was experiencing quite a bit of pain! Our pediatrician prescribed us this formula (the only one that is prescribed) and the pains disappeared from the second day of administration! In short, it does what it should exceptionally well.
I have twins and neither of them could drink it. As soon as we got it and opened it, we threw it away.
We have been using frisolac ac for 10 days now. The child seems to have stomach pain, for the first 6 days we suffered from constipation, it seemed to have stomach pains, had one bowel movement a day with difficulty and suffering. In the last 3 days, this bowel movement turned into diarrhea, one bowel movement of diarrhea and today 4 bowel movements of diarrhea. It is Sunday, I will monitor it and tomorrow I will call the pediatrician. The child will not take Frisolac again. Before this, we had also tried Frisolac ar which also caused us diarrhea.
As soon as the little one drank it, after about an hour, she cried non-stop for two to three hours, and the baby was in pain. Supposedly it is specifically for colic! I saw exactly the opposite! Plus, it caused a lot of suffering and discomfort for the baby until it took effect! Stay away!
I have no idea yet, I bought it today.
We were using frisolac 1, many colics and pains, the pediatrician recommended it to us. As soon as I gave it to him, he had a hard time with every 3 sips and cried. I hope he gets used to it because we suffer from colics!! I will write again when I have a more detailed opinion! Kids don't even drink it! The box is a waste
Excellent milk for babies with milk protein allergy. It was difficult for my baby to drink it only on the first day because it doesn't taste as good as regular milk. However, she quickly got used to it and now gets excited when she sees it, wanting us to give it to her right away. The issue we had with bowel movements improved immediately, around 10 days, and we as parents felt relieved because we were worried about seeing blood in her stool. Our pediatrician recommended this milk to us. Now she is 7 months old and, following our doctor's instructions, we will try to switch back to regular milk as babies outgrow this issue.
Our doctor recommended it to us because our baby has colic and possibly has a milk allergy, and with the previous formula, he had a lot of vomiting. With this one, the vomiting stopped, but he only had diarrhea and a lot of gas, and he was struggling a lot and crying. But now we switched to a different brand of formula and luckily the diarrhea stopped.
We bought it for colic, the baby is much better but it has a terrible smell and it is very thin, resulting in the baby constantly having hiccups and vomiting.
Very thin... like water.
With a very bad taste and smell.
Our little one would cry as soon as she touched the bottle to her mouth.
We bought it after colic problems. When diluted with water, the milk doesn't smell bad, on the contrary, it smells less intensely than regular formula. The baby drinks it pleasantly, although maybe he doesn't feel as satisfied as with the regular one.
At first, he didn't drink it because the truth is that it has a bad taste - smell.
We didn't give an alternative and he got used to it.
We got it because he had an allergy to the regular one and it didn't cause him any problem.
We bought it because of the colic issues with regular milk and it worked, as the colic disappeared. As milk, it doesn't have a particularly nice smell, but our baby loves it. It caused 1-2 days of diarrhea, but our pediatrician told us that as long as the baby is gaining weight, it doesn't bother us. In general, it's difficult to rate a milk, as every child is different and it works differently for each one. It is quite more expensive than the regular one.
We bought the product because our little one had rashes and allergies to casein. He didn't like the taste at first. We mixed it with breast milk until he got used to it, gradually reducing the amount of breast milk.
The milk is excellent. We switched with our little one at 4 months old and we had problems with everything. Since we started it until today, at 5+ months, everything is fine!!
Although I have not tried any other products in the same category, the baby had diarrhea and reflux. We switched categories and now we drink Novalac Aminova. It feels a bit heavy on us and we experience colic, but we have been saved from vomiting and diarrhea
Baby with reflux and allergies who exclusively breastfed, tried 7 different formulas and this one was the only one they could tolerate when they were 5 and something months old. It is significantly cheaper than other formulas for babies with issues and the pediatrician confirmed that it is no different from the others.
After changing six different types of milk for our baby, because he suffered and cried every time he drank milk due to a milk protein allergy that also caused esophagitis, we finally ended up with this one and he now drinks it happily.... I recommend it!!
We received it today and as our little one was drinking it, she seemed uncomfortable and made it seem like she wanted to vomit..... strange to bad taste.... and quite watery
It smells slightly worse than regular milk, but for a casein allergy, it is the best choice. The little one took it quite easily after breastfeeding.
It has a watery texture that babies don't like and a quite peculiar taste. While it helps with colic, our little one doesn't drink it (while he drinks 90ml with other formulas, he struggles to drink 30ml of this one when he's very hungry), so this one goes as well.
Very good. In intense problem with colic gas and mild constipation, as soon as we got it, the whole issue improved within 2 days.
We started using it due to our baby's stomach problems, we gave it until 6 months, we avoided colic, I highly recommend it.
Awful! It smells and is so thin. The baby doesn't accept it at all.
