The AOC monitor is suitable for gamers who demand high image quality and color accuracy. It features QHD resolution for viewing your favorite game with stunning graphics. The fast 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms MPRT response time, and G-Sync compatibility ensure that clear images can be maintained no matter how chaotic your team battles in the game become!
QHD 2560 x 1440
With a resolution of 2560 x 1440, Quad HD (QHD) offers superior image quality and sharp images that reveal the finest details. The 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio provides plenty of space to spread out and work, while allowing you to enjoy games or movies in their original size.
IPS Panel
The IPS panel ensures an excellent viewing experience with vivid yet bright and accurate colors. The colors appear consistent regardless of the angle you view the screen from.
Refresh Rate 165 Hz
The 165 Hz refresh rate, well over twice the standard 60 Hz, makes games run as smoothly as silk. Realize the potential of your graphics card. Forget screen tearing and forget motion blur. Feel your reflexes become one with the action.
1MS MPRT
MPRT is an acronym for Moving Picture Response Time. MPRT technology turns off and on your screen's backlight during image changes. With the reduced time a frame appears on the screen, "ghosting" and "blurring" effects are minimized, resulting in a smoother, more "fluid" gaming experience.
G-Sync
By dynamically synchronizing the screen's refresh rate with the image's frame rate, NVIDIA G-Sync minimizes tearing, ensuring seamless and smooth gameplay.
Adjustable Stand
Raise or lower the monitor to match the height and seating preferences of each individual. The easy-to-adjust stand ensures hours of comfort.
AOC Shadow Control and AOC Game Color
Take the battle out of the shadows with AOC Shadow Control and AOC Game Color! Adjust the gray levels for better image detail and brighten dark areas or immerse them back into black on the fly, without affecting the rest of the screen.
Low Input Lag
Unleash your reflexes by switching to AOC Low Input Lag mode. This mode reconfigures the monitor for the benefit of raw response time, giving you the ultimate advantage in challenging situations during gameplay.
Pivot
Thanks to the rotation function, your monitor can be rotated 180° from horizontal to vertical mode, particularly useful for desktop publishing.
G-Menu
The AOC G-Menu is a free tool that you can install on your computer for full customization combined with maximum convenience for any AOC or AGON monitor.
6 Game Modes
Adjust the screen to the game with the click of a button. Switch settings between built-in presets for FPS, racing, or RTS games or customize your own ideal conditions and save them. The AOC settings keyboard makes it quick and easy to switch profiles or adjust features.
Dial Point
The Dial Point function places a crosshair in the center of the screen to help players play First Person Shooter (FPS) games with precise and accurate focus.

The screen is used for everything (coding, gaming, editing, movies).
As an image, it is good. Colors and resolution are quite satisfactory for the size. I do not have a DisplayPort connection to try the 165Hz it advertises, but with HDMI (144Hz) the image is really smooth and a noticeable upgrade compared to my old monitor (60Hz).
However, it has some little issues that might change some people's opinion.
1. When the screen is dark, there is backlight bleed. It is not so strong. In dark-themed applications (I tried it on Visual Studio and in the browser) it takes a lot of effort to notice it. When the screen is completely black, it appears a little more intense.
2. The menu is a mess. I saw it in several online reviews but I did not expect it to be actually so bad. For this reason, I have not dealt much with the monitor's settings.
3. It does not have a USB connection. For many, it will not be a problem but I had some things that I would have liked to connect to the monitor.
For its price, it is quite good and if someone does not have a problem with the above issues, it is a fair choice.
Purchased for gaming use on an Xbox S console, very good image quality in all games with many options and settings, minus perhaps the fact that it does not have speakers
I have had the monitor for 5 months, don't see many people buying it. People are "afraid" to invest in products that haven't been heavily advertised by well-known Youtubers. The screen is incredible for its price! Some might be bothered by the lack of a USB HUB or speakers, but personally it doesn't bother me.
Pros:
- 165 Hz IPS panel from Innolux with 10-bit colors! The sRGB is almost perfectly calibrated out of the box!
- You can adjust many settings on the screen through software on Windows. The software also supports profiles for different scenarios with just one click!
- There is a setting to automatically turn off the screen after a specific time (useful, for example, when you're watching a video and lying down, you set the screen to turn off in 1 hour from the moment you lie down, and the computer as well, so they don't stay on while you're asleep watching the video!).
- Beautiful screen that fits well in many setups.
- Sturdy stand and you can adjust everything from tilt to horizontal position, etc.
- Comes with HDMI cable and DisplayPort!
- AOC has an official representation in Greece and they are very helpful, so if you need warranty assistance, everything will go smoothly.
Cons:
- It falls behind the competition in terms of response time, but we're talking about a few milliseconds, so not a big deal!
- The buttons on the screen for adjustment are placed at the bottom and require firm pressure, making them inconvenient to use, but there is the software mentioned earlier for smoother adjustment.
For me, the monitor deserves a 5/5 rating because of its price and what it offers. If you have a budget of 380-420+ euros, don't go for this one, there are better options.
