Knowledge of control systems would be helpful but is not required. This manual is a comprehensive and modern treatise on integrated mixed systems, based on a computer. The book covers fundamental concepts, starting with physical properties, continuing with mathematical modeling and computer simulation, and ending with applications, which are clarified with numerical and experimental results. It explores all the basic issues of mechatronics and provides a detailed presentation of selected devices, as well as several examples of MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW applications.
