Description

Greek history is repeated and recycled as Greece, due to the recent bankruptcy, returns to the controversial status of semi-sovereignty and dependence of the 19th century, both from the Turkish Islamic east and from the Euro-German Protestant west. Hellenism is dangerously shrinking in its intermediate geopolitical space, facing once again a serious crisis of identity and orientation.

If the crisis was exclusively economic, the political leadership would eventually find the appropriate solution within the framework of the EU. Unfortunately, it is more political and cultural, impossible to be resolved by the corrupt political system of kleptocracy and partyocracy that created it.

Hence the call to civil society for a fruitful public dialogue on the creation of a patriotic spiritual movement and a fundamental code of values, aiming at a new rebirth by 2021, 200 years since 1821. A second modern Greek Enlightenment for the rebirth of the Greek in the Hellenic and of bankrupt Greece in modern Hellas. Under the motto that the great peaceful revolution begins with our own small self.

We need a fairer social contract of direct democracy, human-centered economic development, and multidimensional foreign policy. We need to claim and utilize history, language, education, and culture - our comparative competitive advantage - transforming the country into an independent global power of soft power.
Let's start with the revision of the Constitution and the improvement of the image of the Greek internationally under the guidance of the Academy. The restoration of our health, dignity, credibility, and self-confidence is of paramount importance.
