It is not possible for an herb like Ashwagandha to be rated with less than 5 stars, especially by people who are allergic to it without even knowing it. Specifically, in the Solanaceae family. Inform yourself before taking any supplement, especially if it is herbal. Ashwagandha is the most powerful herb in Ayurveda, and for good reason. Many studies have been conducted on its benefits. Firstly, it is classified as an adaptogen, meaning it has the ability to enhance the body's ability to cope with stress by significantly reducing cortisol levels and protein movements related to stress. It significantly increases maximum oxygen consumption in athletes and non-athletes during training and subsequently muscle strength. It has been used in mental patients for cognitive impairment, specifically in schizophrenic disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. It increases mobility and the number of spermatozoa by increasing testosterone and DHEA-s, a sex hormone that plays a role in its production. It reduces blood glucose, blood lipids, hemoglobin A1c, and insulin in diabetics. It reduces significant inflammatory markers, interleukin 6 and 10, CRP (C-reactive protein), and TNF-a (tumor necrosis factor A), which plays a central role in inflammation and is involved in almost all autoimmune diseases. Its benefits in cognitive functions, specifically executive function, attention, reaction time, and performance in cognitive tasks, have also been proven. This is why I personally use it from time to time, during exam periods and high-pressure situations as a student.
Who CANNOT take Ashwagandha. Those who are allergic to Solanaceae, as mentioned earlier, those who have problems with their thyroid, those who have autoimmune diseases in flare-ups, and those who have liver insufficiency.
As you can understand, as with ALL supplements, whether specific or herbal, it is not possible to expect all these to happen in a short period of time.....you cannot take Ashwagandha for one or two months and expect results. All of the above happen after long-term use.
NOW is up and coming, one of the most reliable and popular supplement companies.
I bought it to combat anxiety. It only gave me an incredible itch all over my body, especially in my hands. I tried another brand with ashwagandha afterwards and didn't experience anything. If you are generally allergic to pollen, spring, etc., be careful with this brand. It's a shame for the money I spent
I bought it two days ago at night because I have trouble sleeping. The first night, I experienced a strange insomnia, something between sleep and restlessness, like a heavy drowsiness. The second time, I slept but the next day I felt depressed, without mood or motivation, and I wanted to sleep more. It also gives me headaches and apathy, with reduced emotional response. I will try another brand with certified ksm 66 ashwagandha and I will come back
Hello. I didn't want to make a bad review, but I took the supplement for 2 days and I developed an UNBELIEVABLE rash all over my body, especially on my hands and feet. The supplement may do what it promises, but from the research I did, many people have the same problem with this supplement due to some allergy that is created, so keep that in mind.
It will not make any dramatic change in testosterone levels, but it helped me eliminate the anxiety disorders that were bothering me... Do not make the mistake of taking more than one capsule per day. You will experience the beneficial properties of ashwagandha whether you take one or three capsules as it says on the back.
The product lives up to its reputation! I have been taking it in combination with the gym for a year now. It has given me a lot of energy and a lower sense of fatigue.
I started with Ashwagandha for a general body boost. It is one of the best herbs one can choose to incorporate into their daily routine. Specifically, I am very satisfied with NOW's product.
It doesn't work miracles, but combined with exercise, it increases testosterone, something that was also evident in hormonal tests. Always within normal ranges.
I have been using it for 2 years, Autumn - Winter. While before I was very prone to infections, in the last two years I haven't been sick at all!! It definitely delivers what it "promises" (immune system boost).
