It is the most beautiful Citizen! You can wear it at the beach, at a wedding, on a walk, everything! It is not bulky, so it fits in the sleeves with elastic in winter jackets! It has an amazing accurate depth gauge! Retro like a watch, now a trademark of Citizen! I have 6 other Citizen watches, but this one is the most ideal for everything!
The most iconic diving watch from Citizen, the first watch with a depth gauge released since 1986. Certified diver with a water resistance of 200m, featuring an analog digital display. Its functions include time, date, alarm, chronograph, depth gauge up to 80m, dive duration, and more. It sits incredibly well on the wrist. The only negative aspect is that the dive functions consume a lot of energy, resulting in the battery (CR2016) lasting for a short time and needing replacement. If used as a regular watch, it requires a battery change every 2 years, or earlier. It is available in other colors besides the classic black (blue, green, beige phosphorescent), but I believe the classic one is the most beautiful
I had concerns about the size, as I read everywhere that it is big like a clock. Eventually, I dared to buy it without trying it first.
The watch is of regular size, the photos confuse you and make you think it is much bigger (my wrist is 17.5 cm in diameter).
The strap is 24 millimeters, unfortunately without the decompression limits (even the promaster I have doesn't have them), it is quite satisfactory, it doesn't bother me at all even when I wear it for many hours.
Of course, I didn't buy it for diving (I have been using a Suunto for many years), I just find it wonderful as a watch, its history and timelessness surpass the fact that it is no longer what a diver needs, amateur or not.
User-friendly, easy to read, and with a very strong lume that lasts a long time, sturdy, you can feel it in your hand without it being tiring.
The watch stands out from miles away because it is truly very beautiful.

I had the opportunity to experience this grandeur through the monstrous "ECOZILLA" (BJ8050-08E) for the timeless "AQUALAND" (JP2000-08E) to confirm to me just a few days ago that Time deserves to be bid farewell to with a CITIZEN and more. This particular watch was first created in the distant year of 1986, and it is no coincidence that it is still available on the market today. Words are unnecessary, ladies and gentlemen, it is ergonomic to the highest degree, stylish, comfortable, and CITIZEN quality.
I bought it in 1993 and the reason I am reviewing it (even though today you would buy the similar new model) is to tell you that it truly is for a lifetime. A watch with a sturdy construction that you will enjoy for many years. Its design is unbeatable and a landmark for all future diving watches.

One of the best divers! Of course, from CITIZEN (which has accustomed us to very good watches in relation to their price), I didn't expect anything else! The best price-quality ratio, in an incredibly "tough" product, which is also uniquely beautiful! I have been wearing it for about 30 years on dives, and it still works like new, except for some slight wear on the bezel!! Simply AMAZING... I distinguish it from the other 8 divers in my collection, even though they are more expensive and much "bigger" in terms of brand names!
