Comfortable and my little one likes it, but that's about it!
Quality is BAD!! As others have mentioned, for some reason the glue doesn't hold and the body detaches from the plastic shell! Supposedly, it's an i-size modular seat that will last a child for MANY years, but the quality doesn't support that! It's not justified for it to come apart at 2 years old.
Even worse, I've been looking for them. I have reported the issue to both the store and the company since the beginning of August. The company referred me back to the store. The store tells me they can't find them and obviously, they are absent with no explanation. I contacted the company again, no response. It's been a month and I'm still trying to resolve this issue, which they definitely know about since we are not the only ones experiencing the same problem! I hope I can find a solution because it's definitely a shame to buy a branded product and end up having a worse experience than buying a no-name Chinese one.
UPDATE: 15/09/22 we reached a resolution and they replaced the seat with a new one... Removing the covers to exchange them (the new one wasn't the same color due to temporary shortage), I noticed that ALL the foams were loose. Some were slightly detached, and others were ready to come off. The glue was "petrified" with no elasticity... I HOPE the new seat I received is improved because the previous one had serious issues. On the plus side, they resolved the issue without much hassle. On the downside, the overall communication process was a bit clumsy (ONLY the store responds, not the company itself).
UPDATE: 27/04/23 simply ridiculous! Even the replacement seat started coming apart. From September until now in April, we didn't have extreme heat or summer for someone to say "the glue melted due to the heat"! It's definitely a problematic assembly process from the factory, and it's unacceptable that instead of fixing or recalling, they simply send replacements that will inevitably have the same problem. I don't know if the issue is purely aesthetic or if it's a safety concern, but either way, it's definitely not what they claim to sell. I contacted the purchasing store again and I'm waiting to see what will happen.
UPDATE: 09/06/23. After contacting the store to report the "damage" again, they communicated with the company and told me to return the seat for it to be sent to Germany for inspection. Their initial plan was for me to give it back, they would inspect it, and then take care of it. When I explained to them that I would be left without a seat, they agreed to send another replacement. Eventually, I received a new seat directly from Germany. Since it's from Germany, I consider it to be a new production (because I don't know since when the seat was in stock in Greece in the previous replacement), so if they really found a solution, I hope to be luckier this time! Overall, the company is good in terms of management and professionalism, etc. As for the seat itself, when it's in good condition, it's great because it's really comfortable, but in terms of quality in this particular model, we haven't had it (so far)!
UPDATE: 04/07/23. EPIC FAIL!! Just 1.5 weeks of use for the NEW seat that came directly from Germany and it decided to be innovative. It did not detach from the sides of the body but opened the headrest this time! This replacement thing can't go on anymore and now I will deal with it with the importer because I have a very serious impression that the problem is 100% design-related (the hard plastics are flexible with the installation to open outwards like flaps, while the polystyrene shell is stable and therefore the plastic is forced to detach with the glue not being able to hold them together when heated!)
